Corenna O’Brien is a business owner, political strategist and is known for her extraordinary talent of event planning. A lifelong resident of the greater Bangor area, she earned a degree in business administration from Husson College, and after an impressive executive career in the housing industry, including Regional Corporate Management with one of the nation’s largest real estate investment firms, she has since founded Corenna Consulting, an event management, and public relations firm. Through her experience and hard work, she has proven to be resourceful and knows how to bring people together, set goals, and achieve them.
Corenna has deep political experience, having managed high-profile campaigns. She was recently appointed to serve on the Executive Committee of the Maine State Republican Party, is the 2016 District Fundraiser for a U.S. Congressman, and recently chaired the 2016 Maine State Republican Convention held in Bangor this past April.
She has been deeply involved in her community for years, having volunteered countless hours for various causes and by serving on numerous committees and boards, including the Bangor Area YMCA, Bangor Area Recovery Network, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor, and Tuesday Forum. She is currently the Bangor Correspondent for the Ray Richardson Show on the WLOB network, has been a guest host on the George Hale, Ric Tyler show, and has hosted Maine Street with Corenna O’Brien, a television series supporting Maine small business on WVII, Channel 7 in Bangor.
