Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals is represented by Meris Bickford CEO of the horse shelter, and Kathy Woodbrey, treasurer, are in from the farm to thank all who came out and celebrated at the Open House last Sunday. They have a budget of about $1million. They don’t take anything from the state. They have a huge capital improvement happening in 2018. Buy-A-Bale of hay is one of their biggest fundraiser.
