Part 1:  Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling joins by phone today. Ray asks him about Ranked Choice Voting and what are the Mayor’s thoughts on how it will work. Ray asks about the Mayor what he thinks the number of candidates will be for the race for Governor. Janet Mills, Mark Eves are discussed. They discuss school safety and assault weapons. David brings up the number or babies that were murdered under the name of abortion verses the number of people killed by assault weapons. Ray brings up Sandy Hook and the Las Vegas shootings. Ray says that this is more than just the guns. It is more about our culture. Ethan brings up background checks.
Part 2:  Maine Secretary of State Matt Dunlap joins us by phone to discuss Ranked Choice Voting. The Peoples Alliance got their signatures certified. Sec. Dunlap discusses with the panel the constitutional stance if RCV stands. He also believes that communication is the key, and it is going to need a schedule. How does this work with “one person, one vote”?
Part 3:  Republican Party Leader Demi Kouzounas joins the panel in studio. The Ranked Choice Voting discussion continues. This is just crazy!
Part 4:  Assistant Minority Leader Ellie Espling calls in to discuss Ranked Choice Voting. Rep. Cebra thanks Ellie and some others for the support he got for the school safety bill that he submitted. It was voted down without any discussion. The discussion goes to the Speaker of the House, Sara Gideon, and her inappropriate behavior. Holding a rally and shutting down discussions is not the way to be a leader for all the parties. There is no discussion.
Part 5:  Ray gives Rowe a shout out. They sponsor our studio and Wally has been a fantastic partner with WLOB and The Ray Richardson Show. The panel talks about cars and trucks. Excise tax becomes a topic of discussion. Ray reads a tweet from @therealdonaldtrump about a judge stated that Pres. Trump has the right to end DACA.
Part 6:  Pres. Trump put his boot on the throat of North Korea with the sanctions against them. They have finally caved. No former President could get the job done. They talk about some of the shipwrecks that have been discovered. Ray takes a call and Ray disagrees that we can’t force religion on Americans. It isn’t constitutional and America was founded because people of being persecuted on their religious beliefs.
