Part 1: Ray, Gordon Draper, Debi and Rep. Rich Cebra discuss Gubernatorial Candidate Mark Eves’ Op Ed which he states he doesn’t want the NRA in our state. Rich and Gordon are life members of the NRA (National Rifle Association) and explain their position. They also talk about the March of Lives in Washington.
Part 2: One of our frequent caller expresses his opinions on the NRA and why they are important. Ray talks about the things that progressives want you to believe.
Part 3: Ray and Rich talks about the book he is writing and a how it takes on different twists and turns. Then they discuss the movie God’s Not Dead and what a great movie that is. Matt Mattingly called in about a survey in Iran.
Part 4: The Republican Party Leader Demi Kouzounas joins the panel again. She tells us about the event of renaming 9 Higgins Street in Augusta to honor.
Part 5: Demi tells us a little about where she has been. In Washington! They also talk about Omnibus Bill that was just passed. The panel debate the bill and why it was passed.
Part 6: The panel talks about how many seats are running unopposed. Ray gives a plug on what is coming up on the show tomorrow.
Part 7: Ray reads a story about 2 students that are about to be suspended for posting pictures of themselves at a gun range after school. Assistant Minority Leader Ellie Espling joins us by phone today. They continue the discussion on candidates running for the ME House and Senate. Also discussed is the hardships of being a candidate and if elected. Ray asks Ellie about Republican Senate President Mike Thibodeau is ending his bid for governor. Ellie states that she is concerned about the validity of primary election with the Ranked Choice Voting and the meddling of elections by other countries. Ray loves to play the “what if” game, and asks her some questions.
Part 8: Ray goes back to the Lacey Township High School students and the possibilities of them being suspended for a year. Demi asks what would happen if they had been caught smoking pot. Would they have gotten such a harsh punishment. Demi also talks about a school sponsored event where she spoke.
