04-30-18 Cumberland County Sheriff Kevin Joyce
Part 1: Ray is joined in studio by Cumberland County Sheriff Kevin Joyce. He was involved in National Drug Take Back Day. They said that they were also able to shred old documents and then incinerate them. The discussion heads to the capture of the suspect that assassinated Somerset County Sheriff’s Deputy Cpl. Eugene Cole. The conversations lends itself to how law enforcement and first responders lead their lives outside of the uniform.
Part 2: Ray and Sheriff Joyce discuss how we as citizens can help our military and law enforcement. Sheriff Joyce discusses the “closet” in the brain that holds all of the bad stuff and what happens when it gets full. Just because someone wears a uniform doesn’t mean that they are a robot. A public viewing will be held Sunday, May 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Skowhegan Armory (9 Armory Drive, Skowhegan, ME 04976) for Cpl. Cole and a public memorial service on May 7 12pm(noon) at Bangor Cross Arena(515 Main St, Bangor, ME 04401).
