Part 2: Portland Mayor joins by phone to talk about the vote last night and the budget cuts. Ethan talks about the cost of schools and school performance.
Part 3: We are joined by Fox News Radio’s Jon Decker by phone to discuss the Embassy in Jerusalem. They also talk about the White House Press Secretary and CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta.
Part 4: The boys talk about the media and the American Embassy in Jerusalem. They talk about the accountability of people in power, including John Kerry, Barack Obama, George Bush and the list goes on. Assistant Minority House Leader Ellie Espling joins us. Ellie gives her thoughts on the Maine Legislature. She says that the Maine Republican caucus wants to come back to finish, but there doesn’t seem to be a rush to get back.
Part 5: Ray and Ellie continue the items that are on the table if the Legislature would come back into session.
Part 6: Ray and the panel do a NPR impression. Ray asks the panel about the gubernatorial candidates: Janet Mills, Shawn Moody, Adam Cote, Mark Dion, Ken Fredette, Diane Russell, Mark Eves, Mark Dion, Garrett Mason, Mary Mayhew, Betsy Sweet, Donna Dion. They go into the lack of people to hire. Rich is looking for someone that can do some work for him. They talk about Maine not marketing our own assets.
Part 7: The panel discuss the energy costs in Maine and the free market.
Part 8: In this segment they talk about Maine’s excise tax and roads and the gas tax. They also talk about Northern Maine vs Southern Maine. A caller disagrees with Ray about one of his ideas on broadening the sales tax and lowering the income tax.
Part 9: Ray and the panel talk about how our Maine government and how accessible most elected folks are to the citizens of Maine.
