Part 1: Ray and Bob are joined by Loren Fields. They start off talking about dining experiences, especially The White Barn Inn in Kennebunk. Some how they end up talking about the media and now it is time for them to step up and do their job.
Part 2: The bias of the New York Times is still the topic of this segment.
Part 3: Ray reads a story of Maine firms that made it on the INC. Magazine. Ray reads another story, this one is about LL Bean and their return policy. Ray tells his metaphor about his green LL Bean coat. Bob tells a story about the stewardess of the plane that crashed in the Hudson. The boys take a call from an LL Bean employee about the Maine State warranty and LL Bean’s policy. Somehow they end up on mental illness. Bob mentions Glenn Close and her mission to end the stigma of mental illness. Her foundation is Bring Change to Mind. The website is https://bringchange2mind.org.
Part 4: Ray and Loren continues the discussion on the mental well being and gives a couple of options for support. Ray talks about the work of The Eastpoint Church is doing and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). In the August issue of the Richardson magazine, there are a couple of resources, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention AFSP walk coming up on Sept. 8. The boys continue their faith discussion.
Part 5: Loren and Ray talk about Canada and the problem they are having with their elections.
