Part 1: Ray talks about Steve Perry’s new album and single. He then heads into the “swamp”. He talks about the media in America. More than 300 newspapers have pledged to run editorials today defending freedom of the press in response to Pres. Trump. Ray is frustrated because there seems to be a lack of interest in staying neutral in covering a story. He talks about the difference in the delivery of the message.
Part 2: Fox News Radio’s Simon Owen gives us an update on the American pastor in Turkey situation. Yesterday Turkey rejected the U.S.’ appeal for Andrew Brunson’s release from detention. He was arrested in October 2016 during a nation-wide purge of suspected dissidents following the aftermath of a failed coup in July 2016 and is now being tried on espionage and terror-related charges. Brunson was moved to house arrest in July 2018.
