Rachel joins us first to talk about Jeff Sessions and President Trump. Pres. Trump has renewed pressure on Jeff Sessions to investigate the actions of his adversaries – what he called “corruption” on the “other side” – after the attorney general warned the president that his department would not be “improperly influenced” by politics. Sends his prayers out to Gov. LePage for a speedy recovery.
Part 2:  Ray and Simon talk about new U.S. sanctions against Russia for last spring’s nerve agent attack in Britain that go into effect today, but their impact will be limited among a raft of other punitive measures already in place.
Part 3:  Ray gives a short commentary on the obsession with Pres. Trump.
