10-11-18 Tripp’s Birthday!
Part 1: Ray, Debi and Dee Dee talk about Pat Callaghan and the Maine Broadcast Hall of Fame. Then, the discussion turns to Pat’s love of music which sparks a thought about doing a roundtable with some of the local musicians.
Part 2: Ray, Debi and Dee Dee talk about the stock market and the interest rates. Ray pokes fun at the media because they haven’t reported anything as it was rising and doing well, but as soon as the market goes down, all of a sudden, there is a stock market again.
Part 3: Ray talks about the Gubernatorial candidates and races. Then he starts talking about the Democrats’ call to violence. Sen. Cory Booker, Hillary Clinton, and Former Attorney General Eric Holder are just a few. Ray takes a call that brings up the banning of the word “mob” on CNN. They talk about some of the different phrases and words that have had their meaning changed. He remembers the Charlottesville riots and state that someone is going to die…Dee Dee reminds him that people already have….remember that day on the softball field. Ray ties that back to Colin Kaepernick and the true meaning of words.
Part 4: Ray reads the 1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights and explains what it actually says and the intent (history) behind the words.
Part 5: Ray continues his thoughts about the left and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
