01-25-19 Opioid Crisis/Roger Stone
Part 1: Ray talks about Governor Janet Mills announcement that she has appointed Gordon Smith, Executive Vice President of the Maine Medical Association, to serve as the Director of Opioid Response. Ray hopes that they will embrace all facets of healing, including faith based entities. He takes a call from Larry and they talk about several things including the Downeast Jail.
Part 2: Ray talks about the arrest of Roger Stone and the Mueller investigation. Ray states that Mueller is a patriot, but he needs to make a decision and finish this investigation. Ray talks about the deep philosophical divide in our country. He gives the examples of the the Governors of Ohio and New York.
Part 3: Ray talks about Tripp singing Karaoke and then heads back to the opioid crisis. He talks about how all sides of the issue and thoughts on how to solve this crisis need to be at the table. He takes a call that agrees with him that the committee needs to be holistic and include all of the different thoughts on fixing the problem.
Part 4: Ray talks about how icy the roads are still. Be careful out there. Ray plays the “What would I do if I were President Trump” game.
