02-01-19 Joe, Ray & Clay Gordon
Part 1: This is a really short segment. Joe is waiting for it to be 8:30 because he is looking for the job report. The boys briefly describe why it is important.
Part 2: Ray plays a clip from the playoff game that put the New England Patriots into the Super Bowl. Joe reminds us of what the estimates and then reads the true report on new jobs and how well our economy is actually doing. The boys check in with News Center Maine‘s Clay Gordon. They talk about more sights and sounds that are going on in Atlanta. They also discuss the Pastor that has given his prediction on the final score. Ray also gives a shout out to People’s United Bank for their help in a hacking issue that he had yesterday. Joe gives a personal account of when it happened to him. He gives credit to the AARP’s segments on the show so he would know what to be looking for. He is also in favor for the PIN system with the IRS that Susan Collins has proposed.
Part 3: Ray and Joe talk about Gordon Smith, the Maine Medical Association Executive Vice President named as the Maine’s first Director of Opioid Response. They talk about the task force. Hopefully, there will be a broad range of people and beliefs. Not just one…far left.
