Part 1: Bob Witkowski is from Visit Portland and author of 100 Things to do in Portland Maine Before You Die. Bob has another great event happening in Portland. WMPG will again be hosting our renowned Fat Tuesday party. This will be the 24th year that we celebrate Mardi Gras with our volunteers, listeners, USM and the greater Portland Community. Part 2: Ray and Bob welcome Ed McKersie of Live and Work In Maine. They talk about the amount of people coming to our beautiful state to visit and the opportunities that are being missed when they leave. Not to mention the amount of young people of Maine leaving for college. Hopefully they will be back. Part 4: Ray, Peter and Bob are joined by David Ciullo of Career Management Services and Dale Carnegie Maine, he also hosts The H.R. PowerHour on WLOB Radio. So the discussion this week is about Augusta and the rampant bill that have been submitted. There are several that will be detrimental to small businesses in Maine, but sound really good to people on paper.
Part 5: Ray and Bob talk about how beautiful it is outside with the dusting of snow over everything. Ray takes a call about E-Verify. He has contacted our state representatives in Washington and has only heard back from one.
Part 6: Ray is joined by News Center Maine’s Pat Callaghan. This morning the are discussing the CMP corridor and the pressure that has been put on Gov. Mills because of her support. Ray points out that she had been against it while campaigning, but changed her mind. Ray switches gears to National news. They talk about Progue and Cohen’s testimony and the FISA warrant. Part 6: Fox News Radio’s Simon Owen joins Ray to discuss the North Korean Summit and he tells the truth about how it all played out.
