Ray welcomes some of the vendors that will be at the New England Made Giftware and Specialty Food show that will be happening in Portland. Margen Soliman of Mug Buddy Cookies and Peggy Nichols Lee of Silver Teardrops are in studio and joining us by phone are Cici Bevin of Bevin Bells and Karen Gellis of Swim Lids. They all share their different stories of how their businesses came to be. Margen describes her delicious cookies that sit on the rim of your coffee or hot cocoa mug. (They are delicious) and Peggy shares how and what she looks for when she is looking for sea glass for her jewelry. Karen tells us how she came up with the idea and process of making the prototype for her hats. Ray is all excited because of the “It’s a Wonderful Life” bell that Bevin Bells sent in. Cici explains that her company made that bell. They have been around for a really long time. They also supply the bells for the Salvation Army.
