03-26-19 Political Roundtable
Part 1: Ray and David discuss the college repayment program. David brings up the fact that we want to pay for college but not want to take care of our veterans. Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland talk about the Mueller Report and Attorney General Barr’s appearance before Congress. They talk about the text messages and emails. They talk about Sen. Lindsay Graham’s promises that the other side will be investigated as well to find out why this was allowed and where did it start.
Part 2: Chair of the Maine Republican Party, Demi Kouzounas, joins Ray and David Jones. They briefly talk about the left and the media coverage and late night TV and what will they have to talk about now? They take a call about the investigation and can our country withstand another long investigation.
Part 3: Ray mentions BE BOLD! and the sign up for information on future grassroots efforts. We as a nation/state need to take the lead and remind the elected people that they actually work for us. Ray, David and Demi talk about Attorney Michael Avenatti, who represented adult film star Stormy Daniels in her legal battles against Trump and is now charged in California, for wire-fraud charges stemming from a $1.6 million settlement and in New York City on charges of trying to extort up to $25 million from Nike. The bottom line is, it is all about all roads lead to Obama. There is no way the President didn’t know all of this was happening.
Part 4: Ray leads off with euthanasia. It is illegal in all fifty states, but physician-assisted-suicide is legal in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Vermont, and New Mexico. However, New Jersey law allows what may be called a more “passive” form of euthanasia, referred to as the “withholding of life-sustaining procedures.” This leads to a discussion about prostitution and drugs.
Part 5: The panel takes a call and he is irritated. He makes a point about the FBI and J Edgar Hoover and how corrupt he was and Ray points out the files that he had amass over his 50 year reign. They talk about the media coverage and how biased they are. They give examples of Hillary and her email issues as Sec. of State and how she scrubbed the server, computers and blackberries that were involved. They talk about the women’s movement. Equal rights vs respect. Ray talks about what he has read and who has been involved…he urges everyone to read Saul D. Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals. It is about how to successfully run a movement for change.
