Part 1: Ray and Joe Bruno are joined by Shawn Moody and Cumberland County District Attorney Jonathan Sahrbeck. Leigh Richardson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Founder of the Brain Performance Center. In a scientific first, researchers claim to have found that differences between men’s and women’s brains start in the womb. The conclusion is likely to be controversial, with some experts claiming social influences are more important. But scientists who did brain scans of 118 foetuses in the second half of pregnancy to analyze the links between gender and the connectivity of a developing brain believe the differences are biological. She didn’t do the study, but analyzed the information.
Part 2: The boys talk about the drug issues facing Cumberland County. Ray asks Jonathan about how LD 1492 “An Act To Reform Drug Sentencing Laws” which is the bill sponsored by Rep. Pinny Beebe-Center (D – Rockland) and how will that effect the tools to punish a trafficker or help a user. Jonathan hasn’t talked to Rep. Beebe-Center about why, during a crisis of opioid drug overdose is she willing to make it easier for drug traffickers.
Part 3: Ray, Joe Bruno, Shawn Moody and DA Jonathan Sahrbeck discuss the measles epidemic and vaccinations. Joe points out some of the real health problems that measles can have. They also discuss the MPV vaccination and parental rights.
Part 4: Ray asks Joe a couple of questions via email from the audience regarding vaccines. Jonathan talks about this morning’s conference on the opioid crisis in Maine.
