Part 1: Ray is joined by Joe Bruno and Mark Reilly. They discuss the Manchester NH Trump 2020 rally that was last night. They talk about Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., who has been given permission to visit Israel after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tlaib and Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., were barred from entering the country this weekend due to their support of an anti-Israel boycott movement.
Part 2: The boys take a call from Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland to discuss President Trump’s rally and how the polls are going. They also talk about his health and how much energy he has and gives during his rallies.
Part 3: Today’s History Lesson: Stephen Hopkins (March 7, 1707 – July 13, 1785) was born in Scituate (then a part of Providence), Rhode Island, on the seventh of March, 1707. He was apparently self-educated. He was a member and speaker of the Rhode Island Assembly, and in 1754 was a delegate to the Albany convention in New York were he considered Franklin’s early plan of Union. Hopkins spoke out against British tyranny long before the revolutionary period. He attended the first Continental Congress in 1774, and was a party to the Declaration of Independence in 1776. He left that congress in 1778 and returned to his native state to serve in its Legislature. He died on the 13th of July, 1785 at the age of 78.
Part 4: Ray, Mark and Joe welcome Shawn Moody in studio. Ray primes Joe and gets him all riled up about taxes. He asks Joe about the media and if they have said anything negative about Janet. Even though she said that she would not increase taxes, Joe asks about the tobacco tax. Buckle up, Buttercups!
Part 5: Ray and the boys let Joe run…Joe Unleashed is about some more of the crazy things that the Maine Legislature have inflicted upon the businesses of Maine. He talks about the Maine Income Tax. He talks about a Transportation Bond. Maine now requires defibrillators in businesses. Joe goes off on the PPH and Elizabeth Warren. He talks about the City Councilors of Portland and not reading or understanding their budget. Ray continues the thoughts about how it is now the norm for elected officials not to know exactly what they are voting on. Joe continues on the Transportation Bond and speaks to Sen. Bill Diamond and his quotes about the Bonds.
Part 6: The boys continue their discussion on some of the points that Joe brought up in his diatribe. Ray and the boys continue the discussion about the Maine Income Tax and the spending spree that the Legislature has been doing since January. Shawn brings up that Maine’s work ethics aren’t what they used to be. They take a call and he wants to know what we can do to get the elected folks to hear what our concerns are.
Part 7: Ray reiterates what he said during the break about churches. This brings up a discussion about church vs faith. Joe brings up a lot of the kids today don’t believe in God and Ray says that going to church is something that is taught. If the parents aren’t going, the kids aren’t going to go. Ray says the churches that are standing firm to the teachings of the Bible are growing and the ones that are giving in to the social pressures and culture of the moment are crumbling.
Part 8: Shawn and Joe had to leave but Ray and Mark welcome Tyler Brackett into the studio. Tyler has been here before and Ray explains why. Mark and Tyler both attended last night’s rally. Ray asks why Tyler wanted to go to the rally and then Ray poses the same question to Mark. They talk about some of the big points that Trump said.
Part 9: Ray and Mark talk about the differences between a journalist and commentary. The boys talk about the slippery slope that is happening. The “groups” that are being targeted and wants to know if Kamala Harris is so worried about violence, why isn’t she looking at Chicago.
Part 10: The boys welcome Peter Bolduc. Ray urges people to donate blood. The blood supply is at a critical level. They discuss where they were for the Trump rally. Ray asks what Peter has been up to since the last time he was here. They take a call from Tyler’s dad and frequent caller Dave from Westbrook. Ray and Dave talk about that Tyler is a special kid. They continue to discuss Trump’s assets and the rally. The boys talk about some of the “buyers regret” about some of the different states’ choices in their US Representative and Senator choices. They take a call from Arthur Langley about the Republican’s that supported Trump and how well they did at the polls and the ones that didn’t, didn’t fare so well.
Part 11: Ray agrees that he is biased, but he isn’t media, he is a commentator. He points out that all of the media outlets are socialist left and he is the only person in Maine media that will tell you the truth about Trump!
