Part 1: The show start off with the Trump rally down in Louisiana. Ray talks about the difference that President Trump’s presence in Kentucky made. The percentage of points before the visit and after. Ray gives his thoughts on how to graciously loose if after he contests the race unlike the race down in Georgia. Ray then reads and editorialize a story from the Washington Post. A federal judge voided the Trump administration’s “conscience rule” that would have allowed health-care providers to refuse to participate in abortions, sterilizations or other types of care they disagree with on religious or moral grounds.
Part 2: Ray plays some more of the Trump rally. Then he plays a clip from ABC News anchor Amy Robach that was caught on a hot mic claiming higher-ups at her network killed a story that would have exposed the now-deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein three years ago, but the Disney-owned news organization says it wasn’t up to their standards. Ray asks what was happening when this happened….Hillary Clinton was running for President. Yet, what was the evidence that they had on Judge Kavanaugh….
Part 3: Bob Witkowski and Ray talk about the Governor Conference coming to Maine next summer. This will be a great opportunity to showcase Maine.
Part 4: Ray takes a call from Carroll Conley of the Maine Christian Civic League of Maine. Carroll announces the upcoming Annual Fall Events that they will be holding in three different locations. They have will have an inaugural M.D. Harmon Award and will be honoring Ray for his work spreading the good news. They will also be honoring heroic legislators and citizens with our Minuteman and Beacon Awards, Kathleen Dillingham and Heather Sirocki. Part 5: Ray introduces Lynn Tillotson of Visit Portland. More from Visit Portland in the next segment. Bob and Ray talk about the upcoming storm and the potential for snow and how that will be great for the snow makers up at the ski resorts.
Part 6: Ray reads a text and gives a shout out to his granddaughter, Carter. He reintroduces his guests Lynn and Bob of Visit Portland. Ray gives a brief background of Bob’s role on The Ray Richardson Show. Ray asks Lynn about what is Visit Portland’s role and mission. They talk about how great Maine is and has so many amenities, including the arts, sports and many other recreational opportunities. They talk about the Governor’s Conference that will be happening next year and how much exposure Maine will be receiving. It will also be during Maine’s Bicentennial year. They talk about the Lobster eating contests that Ray has put on over the years. Ray asks what Visit Portland’s role going to be in the Bicentennial. Ray calls out Maine Senator Bill Diamond as the Chair of this committee.
Part 7: Ray and his guests from Visit Portland discuss Portland’s New Mayor, Kate Snyder. Bob had predicted that she was going to win. They they talk about the Eggs and Issues event that highlighted the candidates in Portland. Lynn explains Visit Portland’s relationship with the city. [No Audio Available]
Part 8: Ray welcomes Linda Ball, Vice President of Customer Service of Central Maine Power. The talk about the rough couple of months with power outages. CMP has been trying to keep things running smooth. Linda says that there is are many different alerts that you can customize and they will alert you to when the power is on or off. She also says to check out the usage alerts based on your smart meter. They also stress how important it is to use a generator the proper way and outside, not in an enclosed space…and no line is safe to touch…EVAH!
Part 9: Ray plays a little bit more from last night’s Trump rally. Ray continues with the ideas that Trump was talking about in the clip about the eroding of our rights if we don’t start standing up to their ideas and use your vote to squash their socialistic ideas.
Part 10: Ray chats with News Center Maine’s Pat Callaghan. They talk about the election more specifically the Portland Mayoral Race and the change coming down the path. They switch to the Governors Conference coming next summer and the need for a convention center. Pat brings up that there is also a new candidate, Ross LaJeunesse, for the Senate Race against Sen. Susan Collins and Maine Speaker Sarah Gideon. They chat about LaJeunesse past employment and chances by getting into the race so late.
Part 11: Ray and Pat talk about the musical group Earth, Wind and Fire.
