Part 1: Ray plays a clip from yesterday’s hearing. Ray expands with his thoughts regarding the testimonies and comments on the Democratic players in this saga.
Part 2: Ray talks about Dead River Company and their commitment to Veterans. He also talks about climatologist David Dilley’s piece in the October Issue of Richardson Magazine. Ray stresses how appreciative he is to all of the people and companies that keep our home and offices warm and how cold it is suppose to be this year. Ray goes to the income growth and compares President Bush, Obama and Trump’s time in office.
Part 3: Today’s History Lesson: Mad Anthony Wayne (January 1, 1745 – December 15, 1796) was a United States Army officer and statesman. He adopted a military career at the outset of the American Revolutionary War, where his military exploits and fiery personality quickly earned him promotion to brigadier general and the nickname Mad Anthony. He served as the Senior Officer of the Army and led the Legion of the United States.
Part 4: Ray talks about Jeffery Epstein and a passenger on his plane. On August 12, Attorney General William Barr held a news conference and addressed concerns over Epstein’s death by saying, “we are now learning of serious irregularities at this facility that are deeply concerning and demand a thorough investigation.” He recaps the timeline and inconsistencies and the guards, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, that have now been charged. He describes getting “Clintoned”.
Part 5: Ray talks about Dead River and their new award. He also talks about Tacko Fall and the Red Claws game. Ray then talks politics, he starts off with Mayor Pete and his campaign style.
Part 6: Ray takes a call from Gordon Draper. He brings attention to China’s involvement in our government. Ray and Gordon discuss some of the other countries that have influences in our country.
Part 7: Ray talks about how we should be able to disagree and still remain friends.
Part 8: Guy Langevin of Dead River Company recently was given the HIRE Vets Medallion from the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. The awards recognize companies for their efforts to hire veterans and keep them on the job. It is based on veteran hiring and retention percentages, the availability of veteran-specific resources, leadership programming for veterans, human resource efforts, and compensation and tuition assistance programs for veterans. Dead River’s award was “gold level status” because of its commitment to veterans and their families. 12% of their company’s employees are veterans. Guy explains how important his employees especially their veteran employees. He also gives a history of how the company got into gas and oil.
Part 9: Ray speaks a little bit more about Dead River and that Guy is himself a Veteran. Ray then goes into standing your ground and core principles. He brings up his disappointment in Chick-fil-A and their kowtowing to the LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual or allied) group to and not follow the company’s practices.
Part 10: Ray got an email from Bob of K’bunk that sparks a train of thought about racism. Ray doesn’t believe that the average person in America is racist. He talks about being a Florida Gator and how many sports teams are dominated by minority players and yet the stadiums are full. Ray talks about the media and elected folks trying their best to “chum the waters” of dissension. His questions is “Why do we put up with it?”
Part 11: Ray talks some more about the Impeachment Hearings that will be coming up today. The testimony of Ambassador Gordon Sondland is expected today. It was his phone that was overheard by the underlings that worked for him and is the center of. Ray wants to know when are we going to demand more from our elected folks.
