12-30-19 Snowy Monday
Part 1: Ray gives a brief description of the “Best Christmas Eve Service” he has ever experienced at Eastpoint Christian Church. He then thanks all of the people working in retail. He also talks about the Senate race in the Congressional District 2 race and the money that is being projected spent there.
Part 2: Ray gives a brief synopsis of what he has personally decided. He has decided to be kinder, but not gentler, (but not rude), now is the time to speak of the evil that surrounds us and call out his name.
Part 3: Ray welcomes Mark Reilly and they talk about their Christmases.
Part 4: Ray ask Mark what is his premonition for 2020. Mark thinks that there will be continuous impeachments. He says that he feels that Trump will win re-elections hands down because the choice is Capitalism or Venezuelan style Socialism. The boys also bring up the economy and how well it is doing. Ray and Mark continue with their discussion as Ray points out how he is being “kinder”.
Part 5: This is a really short segment. Ray basically talked about Huey Lewis and the News.
Part 6: Ray reads the menu options for Casa Novella‘s New Year’s Eve dinner service. Ray and Mark discuss the restaurant in Westbrook. At the end of this segment they go back to the “kinder” side Ray….
Part 7: Ray and Mark take a call from Larry about Ray’s “kinder” side and how the media has treated the First Lady compared to the former First Lady Michelle.
Part 8: Ray and Mark welcome Richard O’Leary of Mentors of Maine. He brought in two vets that traveled down to Washington DC with Wreaths Across America to Arlington. Dave Letendre and Stephen Vail briefly tell about their different services in the armed forces. Ray asks Richard about mentors. He responds with the need for more mentors. Dave describes his emotion and experience of laying a wreath at The Wall. Stephen also shares his story. Richards shares the website and reiterates the need for mentors and donations.
Part 9: Ray ask Mark about his connection to one of the gentlemen that was in the previous segment. Mark shares a story about his brother and Ray shares a story about a letter that he received snail-mail. They talk about service and how important it is to share your experience. Ray talks about the huge, orange coffee cup he got for a present. Mark teases him about it which leads to a discussion on writing his book, Truth About Trump.
Part 10: Ray and Mark talk about control. Why let anyone have control over you. Ray says thank you again to Mark for coming in.
