01-28-20 Trump Tuesday
Part 1: Ray plays a clip from yesterday’s Impeachment Trial. Ray comments on the points that the Democrats are so intent on the fact that the Bidens don’t have any relevance in the Impeachment trial, yet they are the whole reason that this is happening. Ray brings up some of the other things that have happened over the years. Ray plays some of Pam Bondi’s opening statement. Ray tells us who she is and her credentials.
Part 2: Ray plays a clip from CNN’s Don Lemon, Rick Wilson and Wajahat Ali. He comments that this is the reason we have the issues that we do. The people that actually work and run the country. Larry calls in and they talk about the election coming up saying that if Collins votes for witnesses they will vote her out. Ray says that we want witnesses and if we don’t vote for Collins, what will the alternative be….Gideon.
Part 3: David Jones joins us again….finally! He has been on vacation in Puerto Rico. He and Ray discuss his trip and how they dealt with the earthquake.
Part 4: Ray and David welcome Carroll Conley of the Christian Civic League by phone to discuss the vote for the sports betting bill (LD 553) and the governor’s veto. He finds himself in uncharted waters that he is supporting this veto and agreeing with the Governor. Ray asks Carroll if he has any idea how the Maine Legislature might vote. Ray and Carroll discuss how they come to a decision about which bill they will support or fight against. Carroll describes the Christian Civic League’s mission. Ray and David talk about the rigid ideology that is running the state.
Part 5: Ray re-addresses the call from earlier from Larry about Sen. Collins and her vote on witnesses. Ray stresses that he has no problem with witness testimonies as long as it isn’t one sided. If they call for witnesses, call them all.
Part 6: Ray, David and Dee Dee discuss babies and family names. Ray and David continue with the Impeachment and how Pelosi is so insincere when she speaks. They talk about the education system and how people don’t actually know how government works. They talk about the Department of Education and how they have indoctrinated kids and not teaching kids patriotism.
Part 7: Ray and David talk about abortion. Maine has passed taxpayer paid abortion and doesn’t require a doctor to do it. But you have to be 21 to buy cigarettes and alcohol. 18 to get your ears pierced without parental consent, but you can get an abortion performed by someone that isn’t a doctor at any age. Ray says find an age of adulthood and let that be it for everything.
Part 8: Ray and David welcome Maine GOP Chair Demi Kouzounas. Ray asks Demi about where she has been. Demi has been down in Florida for a Republican meeting. She talks about the iguanas falling from the trees because it was 61 degrees. She get into a more meatier discussion about Trump. Ray reads breaking news about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They talk about redemption and how Kobe Bryant had some major issues but all was forgiven and he had redemption from his past. There are a lot of other people that have done terrible things that have redemption.
Part 9: Mandi Merritt, Regional Communications Director at Republican National Committee, along with Demi, David and Ray discuss Trump and Adam Schiff. Ray asks her to give her background. She goes into depth of how Trump is doing with different groups of people. President Trump is helping people to achieve the “American Dream” of buying a home, because his economic plan is working. They talk about the difference between growing government verses growing jobs. This brings up the rally and support that he has in New Jersey and Rep. Jeff Van Drew that switched parties because of the Impeachment Hearing proceedings and the non-truth speeches. Ray brings up the Democratic Presidential Candidates and that they want to have more government involved in every aspect of your life.
Part 10: Ray re-introduces Demi and David. They talk about the Trump rally down in New Jersey and the one that might be having in New Hampshire.
