Part 1: Ray talks to Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland about what Washington has done to help the average American and American that is loosing their job, but still needs to pay their bills and the trickle down effect when a business closes. The talk about her upcoming wedding, graduations, proms and touch on the economy not just the sickness. Ray talks about a conversation with Todd Starnes and Harry Hurley of Hurley from In The Morning heard in Atlantic City on WPG Talk Radio 1450 on the Todd Starnes Show yesterday. He briefly gets into the government and the difference between the past government bailouts and today’s economic crisis.
Part 2: Ray and Bob Witkowski talk about all of the countries that America has helped in the past. Now it is time to help America and the American economy, not just the certain industries, but a way to help them all.
Part 3: Ray gives a quick line up of today’s show. He takes a call from Gordon with a question about the Census and then about medicine that he receives, but can’t now. Ray is really frustrated with the people that have said that President Trump hasn’t taken the Coronavirus seriously. Even though he mentioned it by name in the State of the Union Address and has assembled an unprecedented team of experts to fight this deadly pandemic. Ray talks about the New York Times and the leak from Congress,with the proposed worse case scenario doomsday plan. Ray talks about the money that Congress gives out shouldn’t be a loan. We give money to any other countries without the expectations of being paid back. We need to take care of our own that have lost their incomes due to no fault of their own.
Part 4: Dave Ciullo and Ray talk about unemployment claims. Dave hosts the HR PowerHour on WLOB Saturday mornings and owner of CMA. Dave spells out Maine’s new legislation in simple terms. Ray ask Dave a couple of questions that he has received. Dave talks about the FLA leave. Dave stresses that there are many reputable webinars going on to find out the most up to date information. Part 5: Ray is joined by Dr. Dora Mills. She compares the Coronavirus pandemic to a blizzard. We know that it is here, we need to hunker down and take precautions. This is a very serious situation. We need to all do our part for the next 10 days or so. It will get worse before it is going to get better just like a storm. She says that there will be a narrowing of the field of people being tested and she explains what that means. She talks about the steps that they have taken to make sure that they have the medical resources available that they need. She pleads with the young people who are feeling “fine” to heed the warnings and stay at home. They talk about the at risk groups that will get the severe disease. She says that we don’t have much data based on Americans, what information we do have we have gotten from China.
Part 6: Ray talks about Congress and their role in helping the small businesses in America survive something that they had no control over. Carroll Conley of the Christian Civic League of Maine joins Ray to discuss the affect that this pandemic is and will be having on the churches. What will they do to stay solvent. Ray offers his services to churches to help set up a pay-pal account to help them take donations online. Carroll talks about how now is the time for creativity and that we need to pray for guidance and patience. He also says that this will crisis will bring us back to a time where we depend on one another and our faith. Ray says that in a time of crisis God shows himself.
