Part 1: Ray plays The Prayer from Mat and Savanna Shaw and he explains why. Ray is really frustrated with the American media. He gives some examples of his frustration, including how somehow this has been made into a racist virus.
Part 2: Ray plays some Kenny Rogers as a tribute to an artist that he always loved and will miss, but his music will live on. He gives a list of today’s upcoming guests.
Part 3: Ray welcomes Dr. Micheal Ciampi by phone. He is Ray’s Family physician and they chat about the Coronavirus and how Maine is handling the pandemic. The Doc and Ray both agree that the President and Governor Mills have been doing a phenomenal job of getting information out and working to He talks about how elective procedures and non-emergency hospital test visits have been postponed to help with the mingling of infected and non-infected people. The boys also talk about the complications of how it is spread and who is at high risk of getting really sick. They talk about the dense population on New York City verses Maine. Doc Ciampi says that there is a lot of reason for optimism and he explains the trends. Ray asks about the testing and results of test, isolation. They talk about some of the underlying health conditions that put people in the high risk category.
Part 4: Ray continues his discussion with Dr. Micheal Ciampi. They talk about Mercy Hospital and Doc Ciampi’s Father, Doctor Louis Ciampi. He was in practice for 40 years. The Doc tells us about how his parents met and that his father delivered Fred Forsley. His mom was a nurse at Mercy Hospital and that is where his parents. They are trying to raise money for a memorial to honor Dr. Louis Ciampi. Fred is spearheading this venture for the foyer to the maternity ward. There are many ways to give. Part 5: Ray describes his upcoming guest. Laurel Ryan has been in studio several times. She is an event planner and on the side she has a small jewelry business, Nautically Northern. They discuss how the Coronavirus has affected her businesses. They talk about the ripple effect that the social distancing has caused. She always has had a charity component, but she is adding extra to this new line of jewelry, the Caregiver Collection! Part 6: Ray addresses why he is playing so much Kenny Rogers. Ray questions why is it so hard for people to just be nice to one another. He doesn’t see why it is racist to call the Coronavirus the Chinese disease. That is where it originated. He talks about the American media and the White House press corp and how they are so combative toward to the President.
Part 7: Liz Harrington of the Republican National Committee. They talk about how this worldwide pandemic has changed the way that the campaign is being run. They are still working hard to make sure that people know what is still happening because they won’t learn from the American media. The truth about what the President has done to take steps to protect the American people. The economy was really humming and now it is basically at a stand still due to no fault of anyone. Liz reminds people of how we got out of the depression back in the 1940’s. It was people standing up and doing what needed to be done, not government hand outs. This is not a time for partisan politics. She brings up that the Speaker of the House has torpedoed the emergency bill that the White House and Senate had worked together and came up with for the working person.
Part 8: This is a really short segment. He announces that Former Speaker Newt Gingrich will join him tomorrow.
Part 9: Ray urges everyone to call your Senators and Representatives to get this important relief package bill signed so that it can do good work for our businesses and their employees.
