Part 1: Ray talks about faith, the Coronavirus and your health. He takes a call about Mardi Gras and why wasn’t it cancelled and questions why anyone would take a cruise during this time. He also takes a call from Gordon regarding how he is still able to work because he works for the postal service. He explains the precautions he takes to keep himself and his family safe.
Part 2: Ray talks about how now is the time to be strong. He says that we need to lean on our faith. He explains the new small business stimulus package that Sen. Susan Collins co-sponsored which is a loan to grant. He also talks about the Governor’s economic plan and the latest with the stay in place orders.
Part 4: Ray and David Jones chat with Congressional Candidate Dale Crafts about how he is campaigning while this pandemic is happening. They also talk about faith and how important it is to say thank you to the people working the front lines such as cashiers, grocery baggers, delivery people and such. Ray tells a story about Disney. Part 6: Ray and David chat with Anthony Jolicoeur during the FO Bailey Real Estate segment. He is in property management takes care of apartments in the Lewiston/Auburn area. Ray asks him how are they managing the tough balancing act of capitalism and morality. This leads to a long discussion of the difficulties that he faces. Part 7: The boys talk to Katrina Pearson, Senior Advisor for Trump 2020, who is down in Texas. They talk about the crazy time we are in and how many people are stepping up. The steps that the Trump Administration has taken to help the small businesses and the employees. The media has not helped spread anything but doom and not given any credit to what he has done to protect us.
Part 8: Ray answers a text about why he is still doing his show during the social distancing. David says what he is doing along with social distancing. They talk about how music play a big part in keeping their sanity. This brings up the father/daughter duos that are popping up on social media. David says that there are videos of zoom concerts as well.
Part 9: Ray reads a quote sent to him by his son, Conner, and then says a quote from Ben Franklin. Please do as the Governor and President’s experts are saying. Ray says that asking for help now is actually a strength. Lori says that there are many people and agencies out there that can help in a variety of ways. They emphasis that it is important to touch base with your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles that might be isolated and need a helping hand. Part 10: Ray stresses that it is common sense that staying away from people during a pandemic. It is the best course to combat this and every other illness that is contagious. He commends President Trump for his efforts and even though Ray has a lot of problems with her governmental policies, he agrees with the efforts and mandates that Governor Mills have taken to keep us safe. Ray says that now is the time that we need to lean on our faith. Pray with expectancy.
