Part 1: Ray talks about the quarantine life and the struggles. He also stresses that it is important to remember what is really important. He talks about the differences between Shelter in Place and Stay in Place. He stresses that a stay in place happens in extreme and immediate physical harm situations as in a mass shooting instance. He takes a call.
Part 2: Ray talks about the stock market. It is still up from when President Trump took office.
Part 3: Ray starts off with the Worldwide Health Organization. WHO’s primary role is to direct international health within the United Nations’ system and to lead partners in global health responses. Ray brings up the wonderful media and points out Joe Scarborough and his lies about the Trump administration’s response to NYC’s coronavirus problem and basically gives New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo a pass in his preparations. He welcomes Dale Crafts. Crafts is a former Republican member of the Maine State House of Representatives, representing District 56 from 2008 to 2016. He is now running for Congress in Maine’s 2nd district. They discuss the blame game. Ray and Dale discuss some of the double standards the media if Obama would have been at the podium. The media hate Trump so much that they are willing to let people die to further their cause. Ray talks about the difference between Trump now and Eisenhower during WWII. Dale is in a primary and they have moved to July 14th. Ray asks him his opinion on the move and what are his plans to further his campaign during this stay at home. Dale is an optimist and says that America will get through this crisis and it takes a positive can do attitude. The go back the the WHO recommendations and criticism toward Trump in the beginning of this when Trump ceased incoming traffic from China. They get back to slamming the media. Part 4: Ray is states that he is going to update his book to include, the Coronavirus and impeachment hearing and trial. He talks about the media and their coverage about the disproportionate rate of infection of the black race. Ray says that one of the leaders in infectious disease has explained it several times.
Part 5: Ray welcomes David Jones for the FO Bailey Real Estate Segment. The boys discuss the physical distancing and what they are doing to stay in touch with family, both have very close knit families. This moves to a discussion about how it is working in the real estate industry. David says that FO Bailey is more like family and that he wants them to all be safe. Ray says that Conner and Catherine that work for FO Bailey are his family. They talk about Lincolnville and the condo development that David is building to go with Duck Trap Lodge. They talk about how technology has helped in showing property. They talk about the interest rates and all of the good things that have happened with the economy.
Part 6: Ray welcomes Tim Murtaugh, Director of Communications for Trump 2020. They talk about music and baseball. Tim is the grandson of Danny Murtaugh. Hank Aaron is a topic. Peter tells a story about meeting him. The boys get down to the economy and the stimulus plans. Tim says that the President is working on another stimulus package and an infrastructure package as well. He brings up some of the crazy things that the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi threw into the last stimulus package that delayed and almost cost the deal that finally got passed. They talk about what the left, Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden want to put into the packages that don’t need to be in there. Tim stresses that it is important that we keep the stimulus packages clean of a lot of the frivolous things that the lefties want to throw in because they feel that they have us over a barrel.
Part 6: Ray takes a call from Mike that appreciates Ray playing a John Prine song. He reflects on Prine’s contribution to many people during the Vietnam era. They talk about the the internal battle and bad habits that a lot of the people during that time have been battling for their lifetime. They talk about the resources that are not available during this crisis. Ray asks what are some of the places that they can find help. Mike commends the State of Maine’s Bureau of Veteran’s Services and EasterSeal’s Vets Count program with the homeless vets and other veterans that are in need. Ray takes a call from his brother out of Florida. Jim lives in Central Florida. He says that people should call their car insurance provider about their premium, they might be able to get a discount. Ray asks him about the stay at home orders and what is deemed as an essential business. Jim explains how they are able to continue to play golf and the lengths that the courses have gone to to be able to stay open. Jim brings up the amount of people that are going to or have already lost their jobs and won’t be able to afford to play golf. The trickle down effect of this crisis is going to be felt all across the board. Jim’s wife, Jane, is in the hospital for a non-coronavirus issue and will be getting out tomorrow. He is on his way to Sam’s to find some toilet paper and he describes the scene and how there is a line….Then Jim makes a joke.
