Part 1: Ray Richardson and Joe Bruno talk about the Maine and the Maine’s CDC. The businesses that are shutdown and could reopen in Maine. Joe brings up some alternative ways to open golf courses as an example of having some of the industries open. They talk about the Payroll Protection Plan (PPP). They talk about inflation and interest rates and what are the saving graces. Ray talks about how we re-open Maine for business and the restlessness of Mainers. They discuss how they would start to re-open. Ray talks about President Trump’s daily press conferences and how they have been driving him crazy. Yesterday’s presser was much different. Ray and Joe discuss the rumor that the American media is trying to spread about the source of the coronavirus pandemic. Ray watched the press conference and compares it to what the media is saying about what the President said.
Part 2: Ray asks Joe about his thoughts…..dangerous…Joe talks about the businesses that have contacted him trying to get help to save their businesses. Ray agrees and talks about the people that have contacted him for the same help. The question that is number one on peoples’ mind is when do you listen to the medical people to run the economy. Dr. Herzog talks about the areas that aren’t that effected.
Part 3: Ray, Joe and Dr. John Herzog discuss Ray’s shoulder. Ray uses himself as an example because of a couple of questions he’s received about shoulder pain. Dr. Herzog describes what he would do as treatment. Investigating the range of movement and the history of pain. Looking at the point of pain with an ultrasound and pinpointing the problem. Part 4: Ray, Joe and Dr. John continue to discuss health. Ray teases that his shoulder feels better just talking to him. Ray says that he can name several people that have seen him as a patient have had great results.
Part 5: Ray, Dr. Herzog and Joe welcome Justin Alfond of Full Plates Full Potential and David Flanagan, Executive Chairman of Central Maine Power. Ray asks Justin to explain the mission of Full Plates Full Potential. They talk about the generous nature of Mainers. Justin describes some of the differences and help that FPFP has been able to make in the school age children. CMP also stepped up during the News Center Maine‘s telethon last week for United Way that helps Meals on Wheels.
Part 6: Ray, Dr. John and Joe discuss Joe’s education. Ray also mentions that you can find information regarding the interview with Full Plates Full Potential and CMP in the April edition of Richardson Magazine.
Part 7: Ray talks about President Trump’s Senior Advisers, Corey Lewandowski and his guest David N. Bossie is president of Citizens United, a Fox News contributor, the 2016 deputy campaign manager for Donald Trump for President, and the former chief investigator for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform and Oversight during the Clinton administration. He is the co-author of “Let Trump Be Trump” and “Trump’s Enemies.” They joke about the trouble that Corey gets them into. They also talk about Paul Manafort. David stresses that President Trump will get re-elected basically because he is everyone’s president, not just a president looking out for one group or another, but he wants all Americans to succeed. He points to this pandemic and how the Governors of California and New York have been able to work together with Trump. They talk about Manafort again.
Part 8: They boys talk about the Dow Jones. Joe stresses not to panic and stay the course. Joe talks about a drug that they developed during the Ebola outbreak that didn’t seem to work well on that, but does show promise on Covid-19. Covid-19 patients who are getting an experimental drug called Remdesivir have been recovering quickly, with most going home in days. They talk about timing of getting this out to the public, clinical testing and cost.
Part 9: Ray, Dr. John Herzog and Joe continue to discuss the drug that has promise to fight coronavirus. They also discuss the Joe Biden’s campaign and who he might pick as his Vice President candidate. They take a call from Mike about the Florida grocery store Winn Dixie and their special time for first responders and then picking up their tabs. Joe tell a story about the Board of Pharmacy, the Maine CDC and the drugs Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine and they talk about. They take a call about the availability of the new drug and Joe answers his question. They talk about the legality of a pharmacist filling his own prescription.
