Part 1: Ray Richardson and Joe Bruno open up this morning talking about yesterday’s press conference with Governor Mills and Dr. Nirav Shah, Director of Maine’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Mainers are looking for guidence from the Governor and what her plans are for re-opening the state for business. They talk about they what is she planning on dealing with the turnpike, the construction on the turnpike, the tourists that will be coming into Maine in a couple of weeks and there was no information in this press conference. In the press conference, the stated that there were five new deaths, but they were all from the same health facility and already had health concerns. They talk about the media and their biased reporting.
Part 2: Ray and Joe discuss anibiotics and their job. Ray uses this discussion to make his point about how the media treats President Trump. He compares what Maine’s Dr. Shah was saying verses what President Trump said in their press conference on COVID-19 and the numbers. Both were very simular, the media has raised Maine’s CDC Director Dr. Shah on a platau and President Trump not so much….
Part 3: Ray plays a clip of Tucker Carlson talking about Governor Mills’ press Conference from yesterday. He gives some interesting comparatives. Ray welcomes Dr. John Herzog in studio. The boys talk about COVID-19 and who has it, who is immune and how many people had it and didn’t even know. Joe brings up the comment of lack of testing, spirring on another discussion.
Part 4: Ray, Joe Bruno and Dr. John Herzog of Orthopidic Specialties continue with their discussions. Ray asks the Doc about his work with the recruiters and military. They talk about how infections spread, especially in a contained facility. Ray talks about the nature of Maine and the natural distancing that has been occuring since before Maine was a state. Joe talks about the lawyers that are lining up to sue the medical staff. They talk about the lawsuits against China and that it’s been called racist. This leads down the biased media and untruths that they are spreading. The boys take a call from show friend, Carrie Baker. She describes her personal experience of family members that had tested positive during the begining of this epidemic. She is frustrated that no one is asking questions of the health officials about symptoms and possible cases at the early onset of the pandemic. She stresses that Maine is and probably has been in a downward pattern already. Part 5: Joe talks about the flu vaccine and the different strains of flu. He asks why are we allowing the CDC to run our economy.
Part 6: Ray, Dr. John and Joe talk about statistics and flattening the curve. They talk about the normal expected deaths that they have accredited to the virus. They take a call from Andy has said that he has emailed the Governor several times with good solid ideas that she has requested and not heard from her at all. They take a call with a question for Sen. Collins. She calls in and Joe thanks her for asking him to be the Cumberland County campaign leader. He also personally thanks her for the Payroll Protection Plan. It has saved his company and helped his employees. She gives great detail about why she felt it was important. Sen. Collins delves into opening the country back up for businesses. They talk about the passing of the new bill that was just passed.
Part 7: Ray and the boys talk to one of President Trump’s Senior Advisers, Corey Lewandowski. He is from New Hampshire and he and Ray tease each other. They talk about Air Force One and traveling with the president. Ray quotes President Trump’s Senior Advisers, Corey Lewandowski about fundraising and how well they are doing. They talk about Beijing Biden. Corey states that the President knows that China needs us, we don’t need China. They also talk about the famous Trump rallies and whether they will be happening in the next few months. They talk about the hatred toward President Trump by the media. Joe asks him to urge his governor to open up New Hampshire. They talk about responsible social distancing. Corey says that we know this is a blimp on the screen, we need to start get back to normal so that this doesn’t become a permanent.
Part 8: Ray, Joe and Doc John talk about bailing out the states. Roy Leanardson join the boys for a laugh at the government’s expense. They chat about more about the shutdown and states opening up.
