Part 1: Ray is really not happy this morning. He plays the song “Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights!” by Bob Marley in hopes that it will stir emotions. He talks about the Draconian nature of the “Opening for Business” plan that Governor Mills has in store for Mainers. These “plans” are not based in science, but in fear. Ray continues with her defying her own Stay At Home orders as she goes around the state to visit family. Ray explains that there are things in the works to fight her new orders, but if they fail, he asks, “what are you prepared to do?”.
Part 2: Ray plays a clip from Tucker Carlson about Governor Mills’ overreach of power and her new “normal”.
Part 3: Ray and Bob Witkowski talk about Dr. Doomsday aka Dr. Shah and Janet “Abuse of Power” Mills. Ray says that he is really fighting with himself because he wants to be a good citizen, but at the same time wants to just burn the whole place down.

Ray asks if her business will remain essential after the new rules have been handed down.
Part 6: Ray is culturally appropriating again….David Ciullo joins Ray to discuss businesses rules during this new Governor mandated closure of businesses. Dave gives us some direction on what we can do to receive unemployment assistance. Ray give Dave a scenario and asks him to give his best advice about how manver the system. David says that the state’s systems are antiquated. Ray’s point is that the state government was not prepared to handle the need and the Governor didn’t do anything to help them. Ray brings up that there is not a linear thinker to come up with solutions. David ask Ray about a program to help with essential workers to pay childcare directly. Ray says that all decisions have consequences. He is worried that these new mandates will have a devastating effect on people with mental illness and/or the economic pressures will have a long lasting permanent solution and lead to drastic measures. To find out more about David, he hosts the HR PowerHour on WLOB Radio at 10am on Saturdays. He also owns Career Management Associates.

Bob briefly tells his life history. He says that owning the Looney Moose Cafe in Stratton Maine has been a lifelong dream. It was doing really well until the Governor shut them down without any knowledge of the protocols that they have in place to keep people safe and healthy. Ray asks him to explain what he did to try and bring in business. He tried to go through the state to get permission for an idea…crickets. He spends the money to be able to have picnic tables 20 apart. The Governor shut him down because they don’t want people sitting on outside benches. Bob gives out his February numbers and the revenue lost and paraphrases Gov. Mills answer as she laughed at the press conference after asking the question about whether or not the state will help them.
Part 9: Ray plays a clip from The Bible’s Exodus where Moses is asking Pharaoh to let his people go. Mike calls again to see what they can do to help Miranda Brannigan of Resurf Face that was on Ray’s show yesterday. Ray suggests buying gift certificates to help these types of businesses. He takes a call from Larry. He gets Ray all wound up about the Governor not letting people take reservations until she tells them they “can”. Ray stresses that that isn’t her job to tell him what he can and cannot do. Bob of Kennebunk suggests that maybe listeners can pay it forward by buying gift certificates and giving them to a first responder or healthcare worker. He takes another call about Gov. Mills’ and her draconian measures to close the state to business out of fear, not science. Ray reminds people what State Sen. Jeff Timberlake said when the Republican Legislature learned of her plan. They were not informed or a part of the discussion.
