Part 1: Ray Richardson says that Gov. Mills doesn’t understand what she has done. He says that the Maine people are woke! Joe Bruno agrees that the people are so frustrated and unfortunately the people have now got what they deserve because votes make a difference. They talk about the Health Committee running the state’s health crisis. Ray and Joe speculate who is on this committee, because she hasn’t shared that information. The state legislature has no clue what her plans are because she hasn’t shared that information.
Part 2: Ray plays a clip from Tucker Carlson‘s show last night. Tucker had Rick Savage of Sunday River Brewery on and he voices his frustration. Ray poses the question, “Wonder what it would look like if Shawn Moody was Governor?”. Ray says that Former Gov. Paul LePage will be on later and ask Joe what he thinks LePage would be doing if he were still Gov.
Part 3: Ray and Joe welcome Dr. John Herzog in studio. Ray says tells them that he got a text calling him a carpetbagger. Ray reads the definition. Part 4: Ray, Dr. John and Joe welcome Steve Hewins, President and CEO of HospitalityMaine.They discuss the “plan” to get Maine back to business. He says that this will kill the industry. He says that the 14 day quarantine won’t fly because most stays are averaged at three days. Ray says that the Governor has basically said to small businesses, Drop Dead. They talk about the overhead, and planning that it takes to run a business. Ray tells him about Bob White of the Looney Moose Cafe. Steve predicts that they will be opened up for business before June 1. Ray said that he was apauld when he found out that he had misunderstood the rules for people coming out state. He thought that the quarantining meant that they could come and stay in the hotel for 14 days, but he was wrong. They have to quarantine somewhere else before they can get to the hotel.
Part 5: Ray, Dr. John and Joe welcome Former Governor Paul LePage. He says that there is no reason that she should be out of money at this point. He left her all of the tools that she needed. They talk about the nurse that wanted to come to Maine after having Ebola while he was Governor. They discuss the finance reports or lack of and the people that Gov. Mills has appointed to be in key positions. Dr. John reminds us of what happened with Texas and the nurses from there during the Ebola scare. Janet Mills was the Attorney General at the time LePage lost the legal battle to have her quarantined until she was deemed safe, yet Gov. Mills has quarantined the whole state of healthy people. They talk about his announcement to run for Governor and Joe says that he would love to help and be apart of his administration. They talk about what would happen if they boot the current Governor out of office and who is next in line.
Part 6: The boys welcome one of President Trump’s Senior Advisers, Corey Lewandowski. They talk about the Governor’s lockdown of Maine. How it will kill Maine’s economy. They talk about the tourism industry and how this could drive tourists away for years to come. They talk about Beijing Joe Biden. He issued a statement that “This never happened” which leads into a discussion about the double standards where they give examples of it. They talk about Dave Bosse and make “fun” of him. They hope that they will be able to have a double interview next week.
Part 7: Ray gives a great plug for Dr. John Herzog’s services. He is a regular Friday guest and his profession is to help people in pain. Tony Cameron is the Director of Marketing & Communications at Maine Tourism Association and is here to promote a tourism fund to help the hurting Maine businesses. Through this fund, grants will be made to small businesses based in the state of Maine who work in tourism-related industries for companies with less than 50 people who have been impacted by coronavirus. It also helps their employees who have experienced a decrease in wages or loss of employment. Grants will be awarded as quickly as possible to those who meet eligibility criteria, as reviewed and verified by the Maine Tourism Association. Ray reads a text about wearing masks in public. The boys continue the discussion about the Dictatorship of Governor Maine. Ray asks Dr. John Herzog about the amount of people in the hospitals and the doctor says that he could see it if people were dropping in the street or if it was Ebola, but not a bad flu.
