Part 1: Ray Richardson talks about Mainers supporting Maine businesses. Deb Shangraw of Emerald Management in Westbrook went to support Rick Savage and his business the Sunday River Brewery. Ray talks about the poor decisions and lack of leadership of Governor Janet Mills during this crisis. He tells Miranda that she inspired him yesterday.
Part 2: Ray goes down memory lane to the hearing for Superior Court Judge Nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Ray describes his accuser and how Sen. Susan Collins reminded everyone about the presumption of innocence. He reminds people how Collins and her staff was treated after her decision and the outrage of Sara Gideon. She has said that Collins decision on that day is why she decided to run for Collins’ seat. Fast forward to today and the accusation against VP and Presidential Candidate Joe Biden. Part 3: Ray says that you are waking up in the greatest country in the world. David Jones joins Ray in saying Together we stand and Divided we fall.
Part 4: Dale Crafts joins Ray and David to talk about the letter that he sent President Trump about the over-reach of Governor Janet Mills. He also voiced his concern that what she is doing is setting up a way to be able to gain Federal Covid Relief dollars because she has spent all of the money that was left in the rainy day fund and she has bankrupted the state.
Part 5: Ray and David talk more about the the Lawsuit and why they are doing it. Ray asks David about his Ducktrap Lodge Retreat and how much has he lost in reservations because of Governor Mills’ mandate. Ray wants to know where the internal reports on the effect this would have on businesses. He calls out the media about why this isn’t an important question on how she came up with this plan. Arthur Langley called in to talk about the Langley’s experience in coming down for an appointment with Dr. John Herzog at Orthopedic Specialties. He describes Freeport Maine and how it is a ghost town. He talks about the little bed and breakfast that they always stay in when they come down and the trickle-down effect of her not being able to have guests. He points out that the Governor’s order doesn’t just hurt the hospitality industry, but businesses that make signs, painters, printers, landscapers, just to name a few. Ray has technical difficulty and then talks about Sara Gideon and her hypocrisy in the case against Biden.
Part 6: Ray plays the Final Countdown as the introduction. He says that he has the best daughter-in-laws and he continues with the daughter-in-law of President Trump. Ray and David welcome Laura Trump. Ray sets the stage on Sara Gideon. She talks how the #metoo movement ruined Judge Brett Kavanaugh. They talk about the hypocrisy surrounding Sara Gideon. Tara Reed has made an accusation against Democratic Nomination Hopeful Joe Biden. Ray does his President Clinton impression. According to Hillary Clinton, all women deserve to be heard and Laura pipes in with “unless you’re a Democrat”. Ray brings up the antics that they threw at Sen. Susan Collins and how she stood up to the bullies and for the principle of innocent until proven guilty, the American bedrock. Laura says that Americans are smart and they will not fall for the hypocrisy.
Part 7: Ray asks that if you would like to be a part of this lawsuit against the Gov. Mills, text him on the Dirigo Partners Text Line. He and David talk about how long it will take to rebound if we can’t open Maine for business. Ray says that churches have a missed the fellowship and would like to be able to worship as the Constitution gives them the right to do. David says that there is a pastor that is fighting the mandate. Ray says that since Saturday 37 small businesses have closed their doors. They talk about how the Governor is picking and choosing the businesses that can stay open. They take a call from Andy and they continue this discussion. Ray announces that Chick-Fill-A will be coming to Rock Row.
Part 8: Ray says that he has gotten a record number of messages regarding what is happening in Maine. David asks Ray about quarantining healthy people for 14 days. Ray brings up the nurse that put her life on the line fighting Ebola, was exposed. Janet was against her being quarantined, fast-forward to today? She wants healthy people quarantined regardless. The boys welcome Lee’ Ann Delcourt owner of the Spillover Motel. They talk about Bob White of the Looney Moose Cafe. They talk about her family and their family’s service. She describes their mission work and all of the things that they do to “give back”. Ray asks her about how the Governor’s executive order has affected her business numbers. Ray also asks her about her cleaning practices and David asks her about the amount of cases of Covid-19 in Stratton Maine. She talks about the power outage and she was deemed okay to house the hardworking employees of CMP, but now they have to close.
Part 9: Ray and David are joined by Deb Shangraw. She is bringing treats from Rick Savage of Sunday River Brewery. She drove up from Westbrook yesterday to support him. She tells the boys the route she took through Harrison Maine. Ray says that if you would like to be part of this lawsuit, he tells you how you can participate.
