Part 1: Ray says good morning from the great state of Maine. Ray tells us about the three things he has learned through this pandemic. He talks about some of the reasons for the lawsuit that he is helping David Jones with to get Governor Mills attention. He talks about the all of the reasons for going forward. Ray says that he is grateful to the audience and the text messages that he gets.
Part 2: Bob Witkowski joins Ray. They talk about things getting back to “normal” as sports are trying to figure a way to safely be able to have games.
Part 3: Ray plays Corey Bonnevie’s song Corona Prison Blues. Ray thanks the artist for the creative song.
Part 4: Ray talks about the people on the front lines, this includes the grocery store workers. He talks about the reusable bags. They are gross and State Senator Jeff Timberlake has put in a request to suspend the ban on plastic grocery bags. He mentions the custodians that clean the bathrooms and what our world would be without the people doing these jobs. Ray takes a call and he says that this is the closest taste to Socialism that we’ve had and he doesn’t like it. He is frustrated with the Governor’s timelines of her committees. They talk about Former Governor LePage. Ray talks about the song he played earlier. Ray gives a plug for tomorrow’s show. He reminds people about the nurse that had been working with Ebola patients and wanted to come to Maine. Governor LePage wanted her to quarantine for a time to make sure that she was not infected and share it with Maine. Janet Mills, serving as Maine’s Attorney General at the time, sided with the nurse to not be quarantined. Fast forward to Governor Janet Mills who is quarantining healthy people. Ray points out that in our current status, Governor Mills has told the small businesses of Maine to drop dead, Senate President Troy Jackson is digging the grave and Maine Speaker Sara Gideon is placing the headstone.
Part 5: Ray reads a text after listening the bump song a little more. The text was about Sara Gideon and questions him about why he is so negative when she is doing nothing but bring people together. Ray points out some of the comments and actions that she has done while in her position as Speaker of the Maine House. He says he understands what bringing people together in liberal speak, it means “Do what I say,or else”.
Part 6: Ray talks about the lawsuit against the Governor and why he is helping David Jones and all of the other people and businesses behind it. This leads to the Economic Committee that she announced yesterday. He takes a call from Mike with a grain of hope to get some people to realize that they need to vote to make change in something they don’t like about their government. Ray gives a shout out to his granddaughter, Carter, who is listening (she’s 2 1/2 years old). Ray takes a call about Governor Mills’ Economic plan. Ray explains it in plain terms and what the lawsuit will hopefully achieve. The Corey Bonnevie, performer of the Corona Prison Blues, written by Corey & Holly Bonnevie, calls in and tells Ray about himself and where his band, Ragged Jack, can be found. They talk about Eric’s Church in Windham.
Part 7: Ray plays Corey Bonnevie’s song Corona Prison Blues again. Ray says that the phone lines are ringing off the hook during the break and he urges people to call in during the show. Ray talks about how bad the unemployment numbers are going to be. We can’t be worried or upset because we have done what they asked us to, stay home! Ray welcomes Brownfield Dave on the line, it has been while. He and Ray catch up. Texas Tom calls in and it has been a while for him as well. They catch up. Tom has been a listener since the beginning of the show and they talk about the Wilton Blueberry Festival where they met face to face for the first time. Ray says again that one of the good outcomes of the quarantine is it has made Ray realize just how much he loves the state of Maine. He takes another call and they talk about the rigid ideology that the leaders of this state would like us all to follow. Ray talks some more about the lawsuit. They don’t want any money out of it, the go-fund account is to pay the lawyers. Ray states the mission of the suit against the Governor’s rigid plans.
