Part 1: Ray Richardson talks about the General Flynn and how all of the roads are leading right to the Oval Office in October of 2017 while it was still occupied by President Obama. Ray plays a clip from Fox News’ Carlson Tucker’s show interview of Rick Savage of Sunday River Brewery interview. Rick joins Ray by phone to explain what will be happening at his restaurant in the near future. Rick says that there will be another rally on Saturday. They talk about Governor Mills’ inability to run a business. Ray talks about the Open Letter To Governor Mills on Maine Tourism video. They talk about all of the pet programs that Mills would like to fund, but she isn’t going to have the money to keep her promises because she’s killed all of the businesses that fund her.
Part 2: Ray plays the video of the Open Letter To Governor Mills on Maine Tourism and Bob Witkowski discuss it and the tourism in Maine.
Part 3: Ray gives the medical staff and personnel of Mercy Hospital on State Street in Portland a shout out. Dr. Paige Diamond from Texas and Nurse Carol represented the Emergency Department that took care of his mom yesterday. He welcomes News Center Maine‘s Pat Callaghan. They give props to the creative way that the technical department has made it work for all of their broadcasts. They talk about candidate forums. Ray and Pat discuss the test results of the Covid numbers from the Maine CDC and how it is being reported. Ray interviews Pat about Governor Mills’ revised reopen Maine plan to allow restaurants to open on May 18th, but her stay in place order remains in place.
Part 4: Ray talks with David Ciullo, host of the HR PowerHour on WLOB Radio at 10am on Saturdays. He also owns Career Management Associates. They talk about the difficulty of navigating the Governor’s plan to reopen and the wishy-washy rules. There hasn’t been any real plan that a business can comply with and even then, the rules keep changing. Dave talks about how creative and resilient business owners are to be able to comply with the state mandates. David says that there are companies hiring. There are jobs, he also addresses the unemployment payment from the state.
Part 5: Ray gives a quick preview to Ken Cianchette owner of Eric’s Church in Windham. Ray got a text asking if he thought he was helping by questioning the Governor at every turn. Ray says that he is stating the truth. He goes off on the credentials of Mills and Dr. Shah, the only person that she has deemed relevant to run the state.
Part 6: Ray talks about Rowe Auto Group and support businesses that have the same beliefs that you do. Ray welcomes Ken Cianchette. He owns Eric’s Church in Windham. Ray describes this establishment. They discuss Rachel. Ray asks Ken what happened after they followed the Governor’s orders.
Part 7: Ray talks about small businesses and Covid. He is frustrated with the way that the Governor has gone after the small businesses of Maine. He continues with the media that doesn’t ask the tough questions in the “daily briefings”. The government isn’t reporting the true and accurate numbers, but nobody is calling them out on it. Ray mentions that civil court that has been shuttered, since March like everywhere else, but she is opening them up so she can go after Ken of Eric’s Church. Ray welcomes Pete McVety of McVety’s Hearth and Home. He is looking for people to work. He has three openings and that the construction companies need people. Part 8: Ray talks about Covid and the state of Maine and also about how small businesses are being given rules to follow, but they are so inconsistent that they can’t be followed. He calls out the Maine Legislature and their neglect of their responsibilities to their constituents. He says that they need to come back to Augusta and face the problems of the state together.
