Part 1: Ray Richardson starts off with the protests and protestors in Maine. Ray asks where is Governor Janet Mills on all of the social distancing during the protesting and enforcing of the 14 day quarantine. Ray says that there has been mention of the protest movement heading to the Naples’ Causeway. He compares Janet Mills’ Covid concerns between the protests and being able to go to church. Ray says that the Democratic leaders are working together to bring about their agenda. It isn’t about Covid-19, it isn’t about race, it is about winning in November.
Part 2: Ray and Bob Witkowski talk about Bob’s experience on the Appalachian Trail and camping with friends.
Part 3: Ray welcomes News Center Maine‘s Pat Callaghan. They talk about the music of Steely Dan. They get into the elections. Primaries are on July 14. He says that State Speaker of the House and US Senate Candidate Sara Gideon has chosen not to participate. He also says that US Congress District 2 Candidates Dale Craft and Adrienne Bennett will appear, while Eric Brakey has passed on this invitation as well. They talk about the strategies of campaigning.News Center Maine will be doing two candidate forum. One on Monday and Wednesday both at 7pm.
Part 4: Ray takes a call that would like to see more women in Maine with common sense. They talk about the Governor and voices his frustrations with the leadership. He just wants to get back to work.
Part 5: Ray talks about the tyranny that the Governor of Maine Janet Mills has inflicted upon the good people of Maine. He wants to know where are the Covid outbreaks from people opening up their businesses. He points to Rick Savage of Sunday River Brewery and the judgement against him where the Governor targeted him. He calls for the Judge that ruled against him to rethink his position. Ray welcomes Jeff Baylor to talk about the Census 2020. He is in charge of District 1st. Part 6: Ray talks about the people of Maine and their goodness. He doesn’t like the way that the people from out of state and MSAD #51 view Mainers.
Part 7: Ray talks about why we want to go to church and the Constitutional Right that says that we have the right to worship as we choose. He brings up Janet Mills’ Executive Orders. He says that you don’t have to be black to understand injustice. He says it won’t be solved by throwing bricks through windows, burning church and storefronts. He talks about the way of Martin Luther King. He talks about the achievements that were achieved to bring about change. Ray says that MLK is just a prop because they don’t really know or understand who he was as a man. He brings up Joe Biden and how he is using George Floyd as nothing but a prop. Ray talks about many of the Democratic leaders and the way they have governed. Ray brings up the Governor’s call with President Trump and how she “mischaracterized” the conversation. Mike calls in and they talk about Gen. Mattis and his comments. He takes another call and they talk about a Fox News interview about the Covid-19 numbers.
Part 8: Ray talks about LegalShield. He reads a text question about the Gorham restaurants opening. He answers with Ben Hartwell’s appearance yesterday and says that everyone is essential. He takes another call about Ranked Choice Voting. This is a long discussion with a lot of different scenarios. He takes one from Texas Tom with an observation about free speech. Ray takes a call from Ally of South Portland about conservative women. She says that sometimes women are afraid to speak up with their mind’s because of the backlash, but their are a lot more out there than they think and we need to start supporting one another.
