Part 1: Ray touches on a lot of different topics: 4th of July traditions, Conner & Bailey and their new babies, Statues being torn down, protesting and rioting, and then gets into the media attacking the First Lady’s attire.
Part 2: Ray starts off with playing a clip of the President and it is interrupted by a commercial for Sara Gideon and he tells us how he feels about her.
Part 3: Ray gives a preview of today’s show.
Part 4: Ray starts off with a Facebook response that he posted about Covid. He sets the stage for his next guests. School District SAD 51 have decided to remove their School Resource Officer. Jennifer Tyll and Jason Record are concerned citizens of the school district of Cumberland and North Yarmouth. They address the culture of the moment and racism in their community.
Part 5: Ray reads a comment from a listener about the need for the multitude given up for the fear of a few. He reads a story someone sent him about a kid on a school bus that had harm in his heart. Ray talks about the benefits of a SRO and talks about his personal experiences with one of Westbrook’s SRO. State Sen. Jeff Timberlake calls in and gives his opinion on the subject. He changes the subject to the State of the State and the budget. They talk about the need to be able to agree to disagree in order to get the business of the state done.
Part 6: Ray and Jeff Timberlake finish up their conversation.
Part 7: Ray talks about President Trump’s speech at Mount Rushmore. He welcomes Paris Dennard, the Republican National Committee’s senior communications advisor of black media affairs and asks him about his thoughts on the President’s comments and the media’s portrayal. They talk about President Trump’s goal to put America and Americans first. Not one race over the other, we are all Americans. They talk about the monuments of people that have been torn down and that it doesn’t make sense. They talk about how America needs to supply quality education and how we are failing the children.
Part 8: Ray continues his thought on today’s society, the education system and the media. He addresses the elected officials in Portland not standing up against the Portland Superientent calling the police a white supremacist organization. Ray reiterates that racism isn’t the problem, it’s Weak Woke White People.
Part 9: Ray takes a call from Paul of Ormand Beach Florida and they chat about the weather, the increase of Covid and the lockdown because of it.
