Part 1: Ray Richardson gives a preview of today’s show. He talks about the Republican Convention and then yesterday’s adventure. He describes Rick’s Cafe and our server, Ina. He gives a shout out to Steamboat Landing Mini Golf and Rich Cebra.
Part 2: Ray explains the cutout of Pelosi in the corner of the studio for those watching online. Tomorrow is Maine’s primary election day so he talks about the Republican Congressional District 2 candidates and how Rank Choice Voting could affect the outcome. He touches on the Senator campaign with Collins, Gideon and Sweet.
Part 3: Ray talks about New York, NY Mayor Bill De Blasio, and AOC’s latest comments.
Part 4: Longtime friend Vern Dukes joins Ray but first he addresses some texts wanting him to talk about Roger Stone. Vern gives a brief bio and talks about his kids. The boys talk about defunding the police, the rise in violence and crime, cops retiring, School Resource Officers, Black Lives Matter, racism and more…Vern will be back in a couple of weeks.
Part 5: Really short segment where Ray plugs upcoming segments.
Part 6: Ray sets the stage for the next guest by reading the racism letter sent out by the Maine SAD 51 Equity Committee of their School Board regarding racism. Ray welcomes Maine SAD 51 Superintendent Jeff Porter. He gives his personal background and addresses when and why this committee was founded. Jeff sent out a letter to try give better clarity of his position. They also discuss the School Resource Officer and the culture of the moment.
Part 7: Ray and Maine SAD 51 Superintendent Jeff Porter continue their discussion.
Part 8: Ray says from the notes he has received, there a lot of people that already know of Ina from Rick’s Cafe. He welcomes Mandy Marritt, National Press Secretary for the Republican National Committee. They discuss Roger Stone (an old man with health issues) and the left’s hypocrisy of wanting him in jail based on a false documents all the while letting hardened criminals out because of Covid fears. They talk about Joe Biden and the Democratic party holding him up and the media consistently giving him pass after pass for his “miss quotes”. They talk about the economy before Covid hit.
Part 9: Ray takes a call from a fisherman that likes what he has to say and appreciates Ray for speaking up. Ray talks about the primary and the need to get out and vote if you haven’t done it already by absentee ballot.
Part 10: Ray talks about the importance of voting. When you don’t give your voice, someone else speaks for you. He reads a story and comments as he reads. He takes a call from Arthur Langley promoting a couple of candidates. He takes another call promoting the need for School Resource Officers in schools.
