Segment 1: Ray Richardson opens up this morning by discussing the Congress votes on the US debt and the “extraordinary” measures to overt disaster.
Segment 2: Ray ties the song he is playing to what is going on in the Budget and Legislators, tells a story about getting your own money back, and ties it to what Gov. Mills did.
Segment 3: Gunny Mike joins Ray and they talk about the reasons that the prices are continuing to rise on everything, propane costs, climate change, and more.
Segment 4: Ray takes calls about Jane Fonda’s recent comments.
Segment 5: Ray talks about Medicaid and the Keiser Family Foundation’s plan. Gov. Mills’ plans are not working and he lists several of them including the child welfare programs, the DHS system, drug overdoses, and more.
Segment 6: Ray plays the Jane Fonda video and shares some of his thoughts.
Segments 7-8: Steve DiMillo (Owner of DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland Maine) joins Ray and Dee Dee and they talk about food, the Family Leave Act bill in Augusta, and more.
Segment 9: Ray talks about the novel that he is writing, Phil Spiller is a character in the book and the real Phil Spiller walks into the studio to chat about some of the great things happening in Westbrook. Together Days are this weekend (Friday and Saturday) and they chat about Westbrook’s Memorial Day ceremony.
Segment 10: Ray and Phil continue to talk about the novel that he is writing. Ray asks Phil about his paramore, Brooke, and their new chickens.
Segments 11-12: Phil and Ray talk about Westbrook Together Days. He shares some of the histories of the festival and shares that he has some JetBlue tickets to raffle off, some of the performers, the parade, the Grand Marshall Jerre Bryant (Westbrook City Manager), the history of Westbrook and the Warren Family, and their generosity to Westbrook.
Segments 13-14: Ray takes calls. He reads a text from Bob and talks about Legends and other Westbrook restaurants along the river and Discover Downtown Westbrook‘s Summer’s Vallee Square Concert Series. He gets into the manufactured financial finance caused by the government. He takes another call.
Segment 15: Ray talks about Steve Garvey thinking about putting his hat in the ring for US Senate bid in California. He takes a call.
Segment 16: Ray reads a story about the FBI will bring the FD-1023 document to Capitol Hill Monday for Comer, R-Ky., and the top Democrat on the committee, Ranking Member Jamie Raskin, D-Md., to review. He takes calls.
