Segment 5: Vern Dukes (The Muffin Man) and Maine Rep. Austin Theriault, former NASCAR driver and Fort Kent native, join the boys and he is announcing he is putting his name in the hat for the 2nd Congressional seat against Rep. Golden. He explains why he decided to run. Maine Rep. Josh Morris (R.-Turner) walks into the studio. Ray asks Austin to compare some of his positions to Rep. Golden. Segment 8: Ray, Vern, Josh, and Dee Dee talk about the corrupted elections over the last several elections.
Segment 9: Patty join the panel to discuss the fundraiser at Val’s Benefit Banquet at Val Halla Golf Course. This is a benefit event for one of our favorite care takers, artist and U.S. Veteran! Taking place on Friday Sept 29th. Doors open at 6, with live music from Doubting Gravity 7-10. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and heavy appetizers! $15 cover charge at the door.
Segment 10: The gang talks about the new Senate dress code, the reporter that went around New York dressed like Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), Fetterman’s outfit when he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Capitol. Josh shares what the Maine State House dress code requires.
Segment 11: Ray plays a tribute and shout-out to Linc Skywalker and the panel talks about Ceelo Green. The boys talk about the Maine State Troy Jackson (D-Allagash) and his housing issues. Jackson is now suing the couple that sold him an Augusta home in 2019 over damage present in the house before he bought it, but he is at the same time claiming nearly identical damage happened in Jan. 2021 for the purposes of collecting an insurance claim. The problem is?? He is supposed to be living in the district that he represents. They talk about the lack of Republican messaging and unity.
Segment 12: The discussion is about the Pine Tree Energy and CMP and how detrimental a governmental run company will be.
Segment13: The boys talk about music, Jimmy Buffett Parrotheads gathering coming up, Ray reads a story from The Maine Wire headlined “Mills Directs $6.5 Million of COVID-Era Funds to Maine Electrical Grid Upgrades, Favoring ‘Minority and Ethnically Diverse’ Business Owners” and questions what does it mean. Dee Dee talks about the Dr. Seuss story “The Sneetches”. Which starts a discussion. They take a call.
Segment 14: Ray tells about an encounter with a parent after hearing the Commissioner of Education’s new directive.
Segment 15: The panel take a call right off the bat about equity and a few more calls.
Segment 16: Ray talks about QC Kinetics. Ray quotes one of Reagan’s speeches and the gang shares their thoughts on it.
