Segment 1: Ray Richardson talks about the US Speaker of the House job, Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan and Kevin McCarthy, the lack of knowledge of basic civics and how our government works. He then turns to Maine and Gov. Mills, the homeless encampment, CMP and the proposed government owned, Pine Tree Power.
Segment 2: Ray talks about all of the colleges planning the national day of resistance to show support for Palestine. He then turns to invading a country that is minding their own business and then being invaded and uses Canada as an example.
Segments 3-4: Ray plays speech from Sen. John McCain’s warning about Antony Blinken. Bob Witkowski (Where Y’at Magazine) Brad Dyer (Hometown Senior Solutions) join and they discuss the situation in Israel, and what is happening in New Orleans.
Segment 5: Sophia Pride joins the fun and they talk about what she is hearing in Falmouth High School regarding the unfolding events in Israel and the Gaza Strip, how it affects the United States, and more. She also shares the holiday’s that they celebrate.
Segment 6: Ray plays a clip of Blinken’s press conference.
Segments 7-8: Ray and Sophia have an in-depth conversation.
Segments 9-11: Brian Cummings and Alexander “AJ” Jones from Veterans Forward, Sophia, Brad, Dee Dee and Ray are in the studio. AJ shares a story of his time while deployed. They talk about a forum on PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) that will be in-person and online. AJ talks about the real issue about PTSD, the need to be able to talk to someone, how they deal with the news, Brian’s service in the Air Force, he shares a story of how they connect with Vets in need. They tease AJ about his story again. They talk about how video games is different than real life. They will be at the The Maine Bureau of Veterans’ Services’ mobile homeless veteran Stand Downs. They will be held on 10/18 at the MBVS Springvale Office/Vet Center (634 Main Street Springvale, ME 04083) and on 10/25 at Togus (1 VA Center, Augusta, ME. 04330). They also have their 2ND Annual Hot Rods & Heroes Classic Car Show takes place this Saturday, October 22nd, from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at Bill Dodge Auto Group, Saunders Way in Westbrook. Sam Patten joins the fun.
Segment 12: Ray, Brad, Sophia, and Sam Patten (author of Dangerous Company: The Misadventures of a “Foreign Agent”) discuss China and their affect on our economy.
Segments 13-14: Ray, Brad, Sam and Dee Dee talk about their playlists, the different generations and this generation’s young people, meeting people where they are, Dennis Prager’s “The Middle East Problem“, history, the deals with Iran, the reality of truth, and more.
Segments 15-16: Ray reads something from Arthur Langley. The boys discuss what is happening in the Middle East, America’s history in that region.
