Segments 1-2: Ray Richardson and Todd Piro (Co-Host Fox and Friends First and Fox News Channel) talk about the resilient state of Maine, Maine’s people, healing, Eastpoint’s Worship in the Round service, society and being a good neighbor to one another.
Segment 3: Ray talks with Gunny Mike Hall about healing.
Segment 4: Ray talks about not having politics until after Wednesday and that we need to take time to heal, and his philosophy on reporting the news, and the option of agreeing to disagree.
Segment 5: Maine Rep. Josh Morris (R.-Turner) shares his thoughts and feelings about Saturday night’s tragic events that happened in his backyard, then Vern Dukes shares his thoughts, they take a call.
Segment 6: Ray talks about the war against Israel, the protests that are happening in our country and around the world supporting Hamas and the new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. The boys take calls.
Segment 7: Ray plays a song for his granddaughter, Carter. Then Ray, Vern, and Josh continue with the tragedy in Lewiston, the mental illness aspect that is a common thread in all of the mass shootings that have taken place, being thorough in the investigation and reporting non-facts in the stories, just to get the “story” first. They take a call from Arthur Langley.
Segment 9: Ray and the group continue to discuss the events and mental illness aspect. Ray says that he is getting a lot of text asking what can be done and that he will announce what he has been working on tomorrow.
Segment 10: Ray talks about the war against Israel, the protests that are happening in our country and around the world. The boys take calls.
Segment 11: The boys talk about some of the laws that have been passed and the amount of laws on the book in Maine. Josh shares some of the things that he was able to get passed. Vern shares a young man (Chris Rowe: 207-572-7539) that’s just starting his deer processing business.
Segment 12: Ray starts with a text from Listener #30, they talk to more about the mental issues and how we have treated our veterans over the history of our country.
Segment 13: Ray tells the boys how glad he is that they are in studio and have the conversation that they are having. They get into College Football. Irish Jerry calls in.
Segment 14: They boys take a call from Steve of Westbrook and it turns political.
Segment 15: They take calls from Cheryl from Bath, and Chuck. Ray talks about Maine Commissioner of Public Safety Michael Sauschuck’s comments about that the family of the shooter also lost someone, and should be able to grieve as well without retribution. Bruce calls in, Mike Timmons calls in to share that his organization will add to whatever Ray sets up to aid the families in the Lewiston shooting.
Segment 16: Ray teases Vern. Sue calls in, she lost a friend, Ronnie Morin, she also works in the mental health field and urges people to show compassion to those who suffer from mental illness.
