Segment 1: Ray Richardson opens up with with the amazement that the American people and media are blaming the people/countries that have been attacked instead of the attackers and uses Pearl Harbor, 9/11, Israel as a couple of examples.
Segment 2: Ray plays part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s speech to the nation.
Segments 3-4: Bob Witkowski joins Ray and they talk about the joy of Christmas, boat parades, Merry Madness, and Paul Bolz and Bob exchange greetings.
Segments 5-6: Ray starts with some remembrances of the Pearl Harbor Attack. Paul Balsamo (Life House Maine) joins Ray and Dee Dee and they discuss the mission of Life House, life choices and how that follows a person, boys not standing up, the Christmas season, things that they are need, and more. Segment 7: Ray plays another clip and shares how and why it is so important to Remember, Honor, Teach (Wreaths Across America‘s motto) is to our next generation and so we aren’t doomed to repeat history. He uses Travis Mills as an example of stories that must be told. Dave Ciullo (Career Management Services and host of The H.R. PowerHour on WLOB Radio) joins by phone and the talk about Dave’s God-Father and his service at Pearl Harbor. They get into some of the laws that will and will not be taking affect in Maine.
Segment 8: Ray plays a song by Chris Tomlin and introduces Brian Cummings from Veterans Forward.
Segments 9-10: Ray and Brian are joined by Don Campbell and his Manager, Kristen Dequattro (Don Campbell Band) and they discuss the different members of The Don Campbell Band. They talk about the sad nature of how we treat our veterans, former band member, Andy Happel. They talk about several shows coming up, Sat. 16th Bear Mountain Inn + Barn Maine on Waterford Road in Waterford, Don’s Christmas Concert on Sun. 17th @ 2pm at the Scarborough High School to Benefit Hospice of Southern Maine, and his New Year’s Eve Bash at Dunegrass Golf Club, Old Orchard Beach. Segments 11-12: Ray talks about his mood and what is bothering him and the conclusion is “Man’s inhumanity to Man”, his mom’s life’s lessons, Ray uses the story of Lela and Brandon as an example, the Christmas Lights. The bottom line is to just be kind. They get into a coffee discussion, and Kim Block. Brian talks about the laying of the Wreaths at Togus on Wreaths Across America Saturday, December 17th.
Segments 13-14: The kindness discussion continues and then talk about Ray’s parents. Don shares a story about his older brother, they talk about missing parents, and Don shares a life lesson from his dad.
Segment 15: They talk about Kristen’s husband, john, who is Don’s electric guitar player, other musicians, lifting people up, and generous hearts and finish out remind people of the upcoming concerts.
