Segments 1-2: Ray Richardson is disgusted with the Maine Governor and Legislature and their decisions while in Augusta. He talks about the Gov. Mills allowing the National Popular Vote Bill to go into law without her signature, some of the frustration he has in the like-minded people that are not doing anything other than maybe shaking their fist at a rally, but it is time to get into the game and make a difference. He takes a couple of calls.
Segment 3: Ray re-explains how the National Popular Vote works. He explains why this isn’t Constitutional and why it isn’t a fair way of applying votes to an election. He talks about the Maine government’s lack of protection for our most vulnerable people and children. We don’t show up to vote, we don’t show up to school board meetings. He talks about Paul Mills doing deals with Chinese nationals for marijuana grow fields, Peter Mills wanting to take the Knight Family Farm, and sister Gov. Janet Mills wanting to put windmills off the Searsport Coast.
Segment 4: Ray continues to talk about the government ineptness. He takes calls.
Segments 5-6: Ray talks about people standing down and now all of these crazy things are getting passed in the Legislature. They stole your vote and the Gov. didn’t even have the backbone to sign it into law. He wants to know if you know why the caged bird sings. David Jones (FO Bailey Real Estate) joins Ray in his frustration. Dr. Peter Earle of AIER (American Institute for Economic Research) joins in the discussion. Ray reads Psalm 94: 16-17 and they continue to discuss the government and the slippery slope that is happening.
Segment 7: Ray gives a scenario and then explains that is what the Maine government just did with your Presidential vote. Matt Jacobson (join the discussion about National Popular Vote and the Constitution. They get into term limits and the other cockamamie ideas from our lawmakers. Maine Rep. Wayne Parry calls in to discuss the NPV and the urgency that people need to vote to change the seats in Augusta so we can change this law.
