Segment 1: Ray Richardson talks about the pro-Palistine take-overs of colleges. He takes a call.
Segment 2:
Segment 3: Ray talks about Maine Legislature passing bills that become law without Governor Mills’ signature. He takes a call.
Segment 4: Ray reads a text about the ability to commit suicide without a gun. Ray shares the story of his good friend from high school and the story of her son.
Segment 5: Ray shares that Earth, Wind, and Fire music could solve the protest problems, Gunny Mike joins him and they discuss the protesting, and then get into American involvement in the different conflicts in Israel and in Ukraine.
Segment 6: Ray wants to know where did the love of country go and how did we get here.
Segment 7: Ray begins with President Kennedy’s “Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You” Speech and continues with the student loan payoff against the Supreme Court ruling, and other “President” gaffes, our porous border and who is coming across, the difference between Trump and Biden.
Segment 8: Ray talks about today’s government compared to the intentions of Founding Fathers that started with Biden’s claims of the Job Growth.
Segments 9-11: Ray welcomes Dave Packhem and Catherine Ann Wilson (Stop Trafficking Us). Catherine shares her story of being trafficked, how she recovered, what she did and continues to do to make a difference. How Faith played a huge part in her escape and healing.
Segment 12: Ray, Catherine, and Dave Packhem (Voices Of Hope Executive Producer) continue with their discussions. Catherine announces some of the upcoming events (Parenting Safe Children in Windham in June, Keep Kids Safe Conference in May in Portland, Keep Kids Safe Conference in August, and Keep Kids Safe Conference in September in Caribou. Voices of Hope episodes will be rebroadcast at 10pm on Thursdays via Maine Public Broadcasting.
Segments 13-14: Ray welcomes Col Ron Russell (Candidate for Congress CD1). Ron shares his and his family’s history and service. He also shares why he is running. Ray thanks him for his service after sharing a story about his Uncle and his service. Ron shares his time at West Point and more.
