Segments 1-2: Ray Richardson talks about the beautiful cool morning and some of the things to look forward to do during the Fall season. He gets into the Harris interview with Dana Bash and her flip-flop on policies.
Segments 3-4: Aaron Libby (Libby and Son U-Pick), join Ray. Aaron shares that Libby and Son was named #1 Best Apple Orchards in the Country last year and they are trying to do it again! They talk about peaches and how deliciously diverse they can be, the principles of their business, and more.
Segments 5-6: Mike Shepherd (Political Editor for the Bangor Daily News) joins Ray and they chat about the BDN fundraiser headline for US Senate Candidate Demi, the election season and some of the different races including the Governor race and who could be running.
Segments 7-8: Steve DiMillo (DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland Maine) join the boys and they talk about the ability to have a casual friendly conversation and respecting each other’s opinions, Gov. Baldacci, Chef Melissa’s weekend specials, and more.
Segment 9: Ray continues to talk about the “interview” on CNN. Harris not being consistent in her messaging, her policies have done a 180 since July, and more.
Segment 10: Ray talks about the Walk a Mile in Their Shoes and the work that Bill Diamond has done for the last 25 years, the DHHS system, the deaths of children in state care.
Segment 11: Bill Diamond (Walk A Mile In Their Shoes) joins by phone to share the fundraiser to support Walk A Mile at Erik’s Church on Sept. 5th. Before he gets into the details of the event he shares his own fight with his fight with cancer. Bill shares some of the most recent cases that they have been working to shed light on and get help for the kids that don’t have a voice. He talks about the fundraiser and how to get tickets and donate to the work that they are doing. Tickets are available at the door or go to their website for additional information.
Segment 12: Ray talks about Brickyard Hollow in Yarmouth.
Segment 13: Ray plays a clip of an interview of Byron Donalds and he then shares his thoughts on Democratic VP Nominee Tim Walz and shines light on Walz and Harris’ lies.
Segment 14: Ray talks more about the flip-flop on policies that look a lot (identical) to Trump’s policies that Harris is touting, and some of the other things that she has said that are not true.
Segment 15: Ray starts with Vermont wanting everyone to replace ‘son’ and ‘daughter’ with ‘gender-neutral’ terms in schools. He takes calls.
Segment 16: Ray goes back to read more about the Vermont push to replace the words son and daughter.
