Segments 3-4: Ray starts off with more of the Democratic plan and then takes calls.
Segments 5-6: Ray starts with Kamala’s 2020 mandatory buy back plan on guns and her flip flop on policy in 2024 with no explanation and then Mike Shepherd (Political Editor for the Bangor Daily News) calls in and they talk about apple picking and babies. The discussion shifts to things that the BDN are following including Gwen Waltz visit to Maine, debates being held in Maine, and more.
Segments 7-8: Joe Bruno (Community Pharmacy), Sophia Pride (High School Senior) and Steve DiMillo (DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland Maine) join Ray and they have a discussion on the needle exchange program, homeowners required to pick up needles on their property, and more. Steve shares the passing of Steve’s aunt, Jeanette (DiMillo) Breggia and this weekend’s fabulous tuna special.
Segment 9-10: Bill Diamond (Walk A Mile In Their Shoes) joins Sophia, Joe, and Ray to share the support of the fundraiser for Walk A Mile at Erik’s Church that was on Sept. 5th. Ray asks him about his fight with his cancer and how he is doing. Bill shares some exciting news regarding the State of Maine being sued by the The U.S. Department of Justice and they discuss the long line of incompetence in Maine’s leadership, and more.
Segment 11: Sophia had to go to school and they get back to the discussion of the Dept. of Justice suing Maine DHHS. They take a call from Dave of Punta Gorda.
Segment 12: Ray reads a text from Corey about picking up needles that might be laced with Fentanyl. They talk about people coming in to Community Pharmacy to buy needles, Covid masks all over the ground, and the yeoman’s work that Joe and Community Pharmacy has done with shots and his support to non-profits. They talk more about the s support to non-profits, and more. They take a call.
Segments 13-16: Ray thanks Joe and Community Pharmacy for their support of the Richardson Family Golf Tournament to benefit Travis Mills Foundation and the discuss the tournament. They take more calls.
