Segment 1: Ray Richardson announces the return of WLOB Radio on Tune-In and then talk about the need and importance of relationships. This leads to him to reminding us of Gov. Mills and other Democrat Governors action of shutting down of their states during Covid. Now Gov. Mills has the audacity to join the U.S. Surgeon General to discuss the danger that “loneliness and isolation” pose to public health during COVID.
Segment 2: Ray travels down the illegal immigrant – border issue memory lane.
Segment 3-4:
Segments 5-6: Mike Shepherd (Political Editor for the Bangor Daily News) joins Ray and they talk about the CD2 race and the article that Mike wrote about tariffs, the Presidential race, how the Presidential race will affect the CD races, how the redistricting might affect the election.
Segments 7-8: Ray welcomes Sophia Pride (Falmouth High School Senior) and they catch up and then Steve DiMillo (DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland Maine) joins the conversation and they talk about the Cumberland Fair, teamwork and relationships make a difference in life, how relationships are important in being part of a team, and some of the standing menu items. Mark Curtis (Gorham Sand and Gravel) joins the panel.
Segments 9-10: Mark Curtis shares important information about a couple of fundraisers to benefit the Reed Allen Community Fund ( https://www.reedallen.org) which was started by Angelos Sotiropoulos. He shares the history or origins of fund, how it got its name, and how is it distributed. Casino night (which will most likely sell out) will happen at Junction Bowl on Nov. 2 from 6-10. Tonight is the first year of the golf ball drop. It will be held tonight and they are taking orders for that until around 7pm tonight at the Gorham Homecoming Football Game. They talk about importance of giving back.
Segment 11: Ray talks about how giddy he is now that Tune-In is back and thanks Morgan Grumbach (Sales Manager at Atlantic Coast Radio) for getting it back up and running. Ray talks about people being deployed. Andy, Farmer Scott, and Scott Jordan call in. Mark Reilly joins the fun. The take a call about the desperate need for poll workers/watchers and shares the website (https://ProtectTheVote.com/maine) to find out more information. Chuck also calls in. Ray talks about the push from the Democrats to take away your rights and shares examples.
Segment 12: Ray talks more about the George Soros’ fast track of his purchase of 300 radio stations and that The Mark Levin Show show just got notice that they have been cancelled.
Segment 13: Travis Mills (Travis Mills) and Justin Crockett (Development Director of The Travis Mills Foundation) join and the discussion revolves around his commercial with Angus King.
Segment 14: They briefly discuss the Richardson Family Golf Tournament and Travis Mills appearance.
Segments 15-16: The boys talk about the TMF Annual Gala, 12/OC Band, and some of the great sponsors. He shares that today is his daughter, Chloe’s, 13th birthday and then Justin shares an event and Travis talks about OHT and how they give back, the Plane Pull happening on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Northeast Air at Portland International Jetport. They still have room for a couple of teams, the Aroma Joe’s can, TMF Open House on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10am-2pm, the programs including PSTD and others.
