Segments 1-2: Ray Richardson remembers JJ Jeffrey and shares his admiration and his journey to his 20 year stint with WLOB Radio.
Segments 3-4: Ray starts off with a “It’s such a small world” experience regarding the interview with Amy Payne (Nurse in North Carolina). He then gets into politics.
Segments 5-6: Ray plays a clip of the Celebrity Birthdays featuring JJ Jeffery from several years ago. Mike Shepherd (Political Editor for the Bangor Daily News) joins him and they remember some of the great radio voices that have been on the WLOB airways including Frank Fixaris. They get into the campaign trail of the presidential candidates, Trump’s Telephone Speeches, Maine Presidential Candidate Visits, predictions of election results, and more.
Segments 7-8: Steve DiMillo (DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland Maine) joins Ray remembering the people that made a difference in their life. Steve thanks Ray for the recommendation of Sweet Maple Cafe in Conway NH and they talk about what he and his wife. Steve share the weekend special of Lobster in a vodka sauce.
Segment 9-11: Ray cracks himself up listening to a reflection of the Celebrity Birthdays with JJ Jeffrey. David Jones calls in with some of his JJ memories. Ted Talbot calls in with his memories of WLOB.
Segments 12-14: Ray and Dee Dee remember JJ and his personal connections, Ben joins them as Ray reads a text about his bartender Lilly at Sidecar which brings on the discussion about Red City’s and Junction Bowl’s staff. Bob Witkowski, Jimmy Fahey, Gunny Mike Hall, Arthur Langley all share memories.
Segments 15-16: Kenny gave us an update on his campaign and will be at the Westbrook Candidate’s Night, Ben shares the upcoming fundraisers that he is involved in the , John from Falmouth, Bill of Casco call in with thoughts of JJ Jeffrey.
