Segment 1: Ray Richardson starts with the meeting of Top Russian and US officials meeting in Saudi Arabia to begin talks on Ukraine war without officials from Kyiv. Biden giving social security benefits to Ukrainian refugees.
Segment 3: Ray plays a clip sharing information about Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett who is going after Elon Musk an his efforts.
Segment 4: Ray starts with a clip from 60 Minutes about free speech and then asks the rhetorical question.
Segments 5-8: Ray starts with the Social Security going to Ukrainian refugees and David Jones (FO Bailey Real Estate) joins him. Dr. Peter Earle of AIER (American Institute for Economic Research) join them in the discussion. Ray relays a question from an audience member for Peter to answer. Ray announces and congratulates Peter on his promotion. Ray asks Dr. Earle about the Jobs Report and what it means. Matt Jacobson (Retired Navy, s the conversation and asks Peter a question about our infrastructure and they discuss getting rid of the Jones Act. Ray shares an example of why farmers are being subsidized and how do we make them flourish without government help.
Segments 9-10: Maine Rep. Barbara Bagshaw (R.-Windham) join Ray, David, and Matt to discuss Maine’s education system and some of the new bills that are up in Augusta. The money for a study, biological boys in girl’s sports, and more.
Segment 11: The conversation continues about the education system and school spirit, the Principal’s Association, and sports. in how the Maine education system and legislation is affecting the work force so many different fields and industries are having trouble filling their employee needs.
Segment 12: The conversation switches to energy and price gouging.
Segments 13-14: Matt and Ray continue with Maine’s energy, the subsidized energy sources, and the plans for the future. They take calls about education and the safety of the air industry.
Segments 15-16: Dan Boutin and Fred Nevells (owners/partners of Route 22 Service Center on Country Road by Haven’s Candies, Lifetime Service Center and Frank’s Garage in Gray.) They talk about getting help and the struggle of some of the federal programs like right to repair, the cash for clunkers program, apprentice aspect of hiring younger people. They talk about the advantages of their locations, Fred and Dan feel that one of their biggest strengths is diagnostics so that they can fix it in a timely manner. They both feel that customer service is paramount.
