Segments 1-2: Ray Richardson starts with the release of the Epstein files and who is listed in them and then moves on to Maine and some of the inconsistencies. He applauds the Republicans and Republican leadership for holding the line and not voting for the Supplemental budget. He suggest that they don’t give in until Rep. Laurel Libby can vote again and give all of Maine a voice.
Segment 3: Ray starts with a clip of a Maine parent at a school board meeting. Ray and Dee Dee talk about social agendas in school. Ray continues with some of the stats of Maine compared to other states in the country.
Segment 4: Ray plays a clip of Rep. Olan Mar and then welcomes Ryan Schmelz (Fox News Radio Reporter) to talk about the government shutdown scheduled for March and a lot of the bills that haven’t been brought to the floor and Sen. Chuck Schumer, the One Big Beautiful Bill, and more.
Segment 5-6: Ray welcomes Mike Shepherd (Political Editor for the Bangor Daily News) and they discuss the environment at the Maine Capitol and will probably need someone to step in and bring peace, Gov. Mills following Executive Orders from Biden versus Trump, the treatment of Rep. Laurel Libby, and more.
Segment 7-8: Ray and Dee Dee welcomes Blake Kernen (Press Secretary for Sen. Susan Collins) and Steve DiMillo (DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland Maine) and Ray asks Steve about the Committee meeting that he attended by Zoom. The talk about some of the appetizers at DiMillo’s and then Blake shares her job description and describes the hard work that Sen. Susan Collins puts into everything she votes on. Steve shares his experiences of working with Sen. Collins. Blake shares what a typical day for Sen. Collins looks like.
Segments 9-10: Bill Diamond (Walk A Mile In Their Shoes) joins Blake, Steve, Ray, and Dee Dee. The conversation starts with red heads. They talk about long marriages. Ray’s brother calls in to celebrate DiMillo’s and mention the Caribou vs. York State Boys Basketball Championship Game and the Caribou vs. Biddeford Girls Championship Game. Steve share DiMillo’s Restaurant specials.
Segments 11:12: Ray and Jim discuss their dad after giving a shout out to Blake’s parents and brother listening. Bill shares the Walk a Mile in Their Shoes Fundraiser & Concert Featuring Ocean House Road Band on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at The Woodshed in Manchester, Maine. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., with the concert running from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. They discuss some of the work that Walk a Mile has been doing and what is on the horizon. Ray is asked about the special again and Steve shares it again and they discuss the heartbreaking news that The Frog and Turtle in Westbrook is closing, politics in business, doing business in the Covid era, and more. Blake gives final thoughts and thanks to the audience as does Bill and Steve.
