Segment 1: Ray Richardson’s monologue talks about Eastpoint Church and the benefit at The Brunswick yesterday for Dan Merrill. He then takes aim at political commercials and the misleading lies they contain.
Segment 2:
Segments 3-4: Gunny Mike reminds people that on this day in 1984, a Lebanese terrorist drove a truck packed with explosives into the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, killing 241 U.S. military personnel. They talk about Ray’s friend Ira Lockhart that was supposed to be there. They also get into politics.
Segment 5: Vern Dukes, The Trucker of Truth, joins Ray.
Segment 6: Ray plays some music and previews some of the guests coming up.
Segments 7-8: Ray and Vern talk about Governor Mills’ political gymnastics and question whether she will require the Covid vaccine for kids to go to school. They compare California to Maine in the trucking industry, products made in China, and the Chinese government’s treatment of their people. The bottom line is the government just takes, takes, takes.
Segments 9-10: Maine Rep. Joshua Morris (R-Turner) joins the boys and they talk about the phrase “I tell you the truth as best as I can.” which is being used in one of Gov. Mills’ commercials. This brings on a conversation about some of the other commercials, polls, yard signs, and more. Ray asks Josh about the comparison ads that aren’t being run.
Segments 11-12: Ray, Vern, and Josh continue their discussion.
Segment 13: Ray answers a text about Ed Thelander, Chellie Pingree, voting, and rank choice voting. Ray and Vern talk about outsiders coming in to change instead of embracing the state of Maine, Portland’s lack of addressing homelessness, Deering Park, drug addiction, drug overdoses, and the media’s responsibility to hold the Governor accountable for the lacking of her policies.
Segments 15-16: Ray and Vern continue with their discussion and take a couple of calls.
