Part 1: Ray Richardson talks about the weekend events. Saturday was the anniversary of D-Day. Then focuses on the graduations of Scarborough and Westbrook that were held on Saturday at Rock Row and gives thank yous to all that were involved and helped make it happen including the sponsors. He gives a quick preview of this morning’s lineup.
Part 2: Ray announces the Standing Up For Maine Press Conference that will be held at 1:00pm today at Willows Pizza and Restaurant, located at 740 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106.
Part 3: Ray talks briefly about the President’s trip to Guilford Maine and his roundtable meeting with Maine’s commercial fisherman and the excessive regulations heaped on them.
Part 4: Ray starts the segment with the concept of defunding the police departments. Ray points out that if you believe in abortion you can’t support Black Lives Matter. He gives a brief history of why. Jay Baker of LegalShield joins Ray. Jay gives a quick history of how LegalShield began. Ray uses the unemployment fraud as an example of how this program could help you, not just right now, but in the future.
Part 5: Ray talks about the destruction that Governor Janet Mills has inflicted on Maine businesses that are unConstitutional and unwarranted. He invites everyone down to Willows at 1pm today.
Part 6: Ray talks to Geoffrey Lacuessa of the Portland Sea Dogs. They talk about the uncertainty of the baseball season and Opening Day memories. They talk about the Sea Dogs severing ties with Shain’s Ice Cream. Starting today the Sea Dogs are launching curbside and delivery service for some of your favorite ballpark fare. The service will be available Monday through Friday from June 8th through June 26th for both lunch and dinner hours. Lunch will be available between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM with the dinner hours running from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Part 7: Ray encourages people to come to the beautiful state of Maine. He talks about the difference in the media coverage if they are covering a conservative rally or event. Ray also urges people to open their business despite the Governor’s Executive Order. She didn’t have a problem with the many protestors.
Part 8: Ray starts off with Sara Gideon and Governor Mills. He then chats with Former Governor Paul LePage and they discuss the defunding of Minneapolis Police Department. They talk about some of the regulations that lead to choking the life out of the Fishing Industries. They talk about the current Maine Leadership and the unemployment issues. He reminds us what they did while he was Governor. Ray asks him what he would have done differently during this pandemic if he were the current Governor.
Part 9: Ray reminds people about the good cops out there. He urges everyone to read and share Brian MacCárthaigh’s Facebook post. Brian is a police officer and shares his thoughts about an encounter at the Portland BLM Protests. Ray talks about the divisive nature of Former Pres. Obama and the difference in his attitude between the Muslim terrorist attacks and the bad cops. He then points to the dishonest media that leans more toward editorializing than reporting the news. He takes a call from Mike who points to the people and organizations that are funding these ideas and protests. They talk about the Law Enforcement Memorial Wall down in DC and defunding the police. Ray agrees that there could be reforms and maybe a better safeguards to get the bad cops out of the system because the good cops don’t want the bad cops either.
